Love it’s compact size, powerful 30X zoom and sharp picture quality, which rivals results from other cameras I own that cost almost 10 times as much...and with a lot less bulk and weight

The compact size, photo quality and 30x optical zoom make this camera a perfect option to carry on a regular basis so as to not miss those important shots that my phone camera just wouldn't do justice

Picture quality is great and the overall size is great for me...

I wanted more bells and whistles, and I actually wanted a more substantial camera, size wise

I was encouraged by the great zoom and wonderful pictures the ZS60 took in daylight (and glorious photos of the moon) as well as its amazingly small size, but struggled to wrap my head around the multitude of features this camera has, features I don't need

The touch screen is great until you touch it by accident

The touch screen works OK - my main difficulty is that the touch spots are a bit small

Our kids also quickly found the photo editing features that are built in and the interactive touch screen is nice and large and allows you to manage various functions without messing with dials and buttons.

So far it is by far one of the best point and shoot cameras I have ever used!

All in all, a solid point and shoot that will make my photography much easier.

So far after checking to make sure everything works as described.... this is an amazing point and shoot camera.bought this to compliment my main camera

A point-and-shoot was long overdue

You get all kinds of great shots you wouldn't otherwise get

I don't want a camera that is overly complicated and hard to automatically take good shots as I don't take the time to make setting adjustments before taking pictures.

The auto setting and the super zoom allowed me to get some great shots of my son's college graduation ceremony, even in dim light from my nose bleed seat in the balcony.

Bottom line is although for some it may be a great camera and it certainly can produce great shots and video, it just wasn't for me.

I am going to get some BEAUTIFUL shots of my garden this spring!I will have to invest in some brighter lights if I want to use this camera for indoor product photography

Even when contrasted with 1080p video from my Sony HX20V, the 4k video from the ZS60 was so soft and degraded as to be unwatchable.

For this, I need a good zoom lens, and the 30X of this camera is exceptional for my needs.

The zoom is terrific, the auto focus is easy to use, it has a touch-interface on the screen to quickly get to the menu in the camera.

I am still messing around on this, so I have not used this in a real scenario scene, only for testing in house and outside, and I am impressed with video and picture quality in such a small camera... zoom works great and better than all other point and shoot cameras I have used, but I would not zoom in on subjects to max, sharpness gets very dull and cloudy.... now with my camera, changing focus points in post focus was a little hard to figure out, but once you figure this, I love this feature, and you won't find this in any camera or phone that I know of

(I'm not talking about a 60" TV screen) this long 30X zoom becomes meaningless

Focus is jumpy at max zoom, although using multipoint focus seems to help quite a bit there.

The automatic feature of the camera is quite good and the zoom lens was very impressive and took great photos.

Just a quick note to highlight one of the unexpected features of this camera: taking pictures before you press the shutter.

My favorite feature is the 4K video because I get that perfect shot as a still capture from it each

They take excellent pictures, are small and easy to use.

I wouldn't want to carry around my bulky Nikon with its telephoto lenses; and 2) I wouldn't want to miss a picture.

But the pictures I have taken so far have been beautiful.

This research pushed me into this small sensor camera which tends to create noisy pictures unless you limit the ISO setting (which you can do with this camera)

If you don't like taking close up pictures, this wouldn't be a problem.6

Small enough to fit in my pocket, but has an electronic viewfinder which overcomes the biggest drawback of the P&S, the inability to see what I'm shooting when bright light washed out the display

Yes, you can get a nice shot occasionally but only if lighting is exceptionally bright, you don't use too much zoom or the flash, which is almost useless

It performs well when the lighting is right, meaning either good natural light in the daytime or well-lighted area at night (see the photos I attached for a mall at night)

The extra features in the ZS70 - mainly the ability to swing the LCD upward for a selfie - weren't of any value to me and the ZS60 was quite a bit less expensive

I know that long-zoom point-and-shoot cameras generally struggle with auto focus at maximum magnification when hand-held, but the ZS60 was consistently much worse at acquiring and holding focus than the HX50/HX20, which are older and presumably much less sophisticated cameras.(3

The ZS40 started a downward slide that the ZS60 makes worse, and the touchscreen that was a buy factor for me is the biggest disappointment of all
