I have seen very sharp photos in reviews but it is apparent on close inspection that these have been worked in post to enhance sharp

As I've mentioned, I have been able to "work" the settings and get "sharp enough" photos

It takes a lot of effort to get the sharpest possible photos from this camera

If the eyes are blurry, the whole photo loses vibrance and is pretty much "blah

So I can't say that this lense can't do sharp photos

If you want crisp photos, you may not want to spend $1,100
