PANASONIC LUMIX G7 4K Mirrorless Camera, with 14-140mm Power O.I.S. Lens, 16 Megapixels, 3 Inch Touch LCD, DMC-G7HK (USA BLACK)

    • Anything beyond ISO 3200 gives subpar images with lots of compression, noise, and artifacts especially in low available lighting scenarios (don't be fooled by tests of high ISO with tons of light which show OK performance at ISO beyond 3200... the real life test is low light with low available light as you will mostly shoot indoors or at night outdoors with low available light when you use high ISO 3200
    • Also, only works best in ideal, outdoor lighting.
    • Low light is not superior, but is not lacking either
    • Absolutely incredible 4k video in bright light
    • A neutral density filter helps in bright light
    • The picture quality is amazing in both bright and dark lighting
    • – it progressively sharpens the image as the lens is stopped down to its smallest stops to offset the softening normally resulting from diffraction, but this can result in excessive noise even in good light - and this sharpening can be done better during editing), and an external mic input similar to the one on the G6 (but missing on the G5 and GX7)
    • Better low light too (still pretty hopeless compared to most others).
    • I use the camera primarily for video, and while it does a great job, the super light feeling of the camera while filming can be aggravating
    • Ideal indoor lighting results in grainy, choppy video footage.
    • n’t take photos in video mode like my T3i, and that Auto mode shots don’t save to RAW
