Love the quality out of it, and the fact that you can crop down to 1080p or downscale if you want to get higher image quality on Full HD
-
However, I do still prefer the still image quality of the Canon
-
The quality is awesome
-
Camera has been completely troublefree shooting 4K full time using a SanDisk 32GB U3 memory card - yep the expensive and top quality $125 card.
-
Not bad though, as the FZ1000 was very fragile like the FZ200, which did not have good video quality and weak glue to affix the zoom dial
-
I always thought Sandisk was not the greatest 3rd party memory seller, but I guess they are pretty much the best out there, speed and quality wise
-
There are a bunch of YouTube videos that explain how to change the settings for optimal 4K video quality
-
Blazing fast focus, 4K video, great image quality
-
4k is great, 120fps 1080p is great, Cine profiles are great, quality and durability and wonderful, you can't beat what the GH4 does for the price.
-
A simple solution is to add an external mic that points forward; which, depending on the mic, will probably improve the sound quality anyway; but that, of course, adds to the overall cost, bulk and weight
-
It is a nice combination of decent quality and run-n-gun shooting capability
-
The superior quality versus return on investment just can't be matched
-
yes this camera can produce amazing photos as well.--Overall get this camera if your doing video and want amazing quality because this GH4 can produce some excellent professional footage
-
My stills have good quality and are suitable for what I wanted at this time
-
I originally bought a Sony a99 to do video with since it seemed set up to do good video production but the camera is crippled with a poor codec, line skipping and a generally mediocre image quality (in video, the stills are great)
-
You set the VFR, you record the footage (it will tell you "25%" on the viewfinder), you hit record, you stop recording, you hit play and you get to see unbelievably high quality sharp, full 1080 HD slow motion.
-
I purchase a Panasonic lens for this camera, and it has great image quality, fast focus, and built-in stabilization
-
The quality of the stills are a massive improvement over the 1 and 2... does it compete with a Canon 6D?
-
In terms of pure video quality, especially for interviews and scenes with little movement.... the GH4 with one of the Panasonic/Leica lenses (I use the 25mm F/1.4 and 42.5M F/1.2) is far superior in terms of both color and sharpness.- Nikon D750 for Studio photography.... including portraits and macro (almost always on a tripod so size really doesn't matter)
-
It is very good quality, but the barrel is very narrow and looks more like 28mm, totally a bad choice for group shots
-
and I find myself grabbing them both (as well as my GX85) as I am a believer in future proofing as much as possible
