I bought a cheap unit in K Mart for less than $30 and it worked better than this overpriced piece of crap
-
This was a fairly expensive unit for me and I am disappointed.
-
This seems like a good unit but COME ON PANASONIC…write a decent instruction sheet
-
Very good unit, no complaints
-
Excellent sound quality for such a portable unit
-
To get an am-fm radio, tape player and cd player in one excellent unit is rare these days.
-
This little unit is quite the engineering feat and at the same time misses the mark
-
It is an attractive unit with nice features
-
Otherwise, wait for some manufacturer to produce a better unit
-
This seems like a pretty good unit
-
I like the unit, but it friggin broke and guess we will see what I have to do for the warranty
-
I work with sound regularly and highly recommend this unit
-
, I was, and it was a simple 'fix'.This unit is capable of using both 110 V and 220V.The plug comes with BOTH configurations
-
It just irritates me that I got a defective unit, even though the "defects" are only confined to the tape player
-
I am sure glad I got this while the unit was available
-
It is a good unit
-
Great package of features and fabulous sound from such a compact unit.
-
After months of delays I paid for the repair getting the Sharp unit back and still had the same problem
-
Not the Sony sound you would expect at all and if the remote becomes useless you will dislike the unit even more.
-
Cost me $36.04 to send to Panasonic repair in Texas only to have it shipped back with a form letter stating that the unit was obsolete and out of warranty!
-
I don't know if it's indicative of this model or I just got a bad unit.
-
Also unit is not as crisp and powerful of sound as I have come to expect from Panasonic over the years
-
I like the unit, but it friggin broke and guess we will see what I have to do for the warranty
-
I am not sure if this is a general problem, or only my unit has this problem?
-
I would buy another from the same source if I needed to before buying the cheap units from other sources
-
I was picking up distant stations but with much static as this unit does not seem to have the old school 'Distant/Local' setting that helped pulling in far away stations (distance mode) or attenuating strong local stations (Local mode)
-
This little unit is quite the engineering feat and at the same time misses the mark
-
Maybe the unit I received was a lemon.
-
But most of all, I love the full, powerful sound that emanates from this compact and portable unit
-
Well, this unit does not have auto-reverse.
-
In summary:Strengths - Versatile inputs, great sound quality, durable unit, sleek yet not excessive in appearanceWeaknesses
-
The playback is great for a compact system and the battery power makes a versatile unit
-
Un-frigging believable unit!
-
Unit sounded good
-

-
The unit has a lot of functions and works great
-
This unit seems fine and has all the features I Was looking for.
-
Big, deep sound out of a neat little unit
-
Beautiful looking and very substantially built, with good casing as opposed to paper-thin I've seen on less expensive units from a different company.
-
This unit is pricey but a great value because if its quality and versatility.
-
I have a Sansa Fuze mp3 player, and this boombox delivers amazing sound with it (the portable speaker units I have previously used with it are pathetic in comparison to the Panasonic).
-
The sound quality is truly outstanding for such a compact unit and convenient price
-
The primary reason for the purchase of this unit, like the one before it, was that a unit that I have had for 18 years finally had the cassette and CD players die, after many years of heavy use (the radio still works fine).

-
Over the range of frequencies that the speakers are capable of producing CORRECTLY, the sound quality is EXCELLENT for such a small portable unit
-
Poor design features include: 1) even though a feature for "back-up batteries" exists to maintain function and pre-set radio features in case of electrical outages, back-up feature is rendered inoperable if user wishes to operate device as a portable unit.
-
This is a very good unit and highly recommend it as a great buy!
-
The unit and conversion plug both get VERY hot.
-
Thank u those who gave me a description on looks and size.
-
Disappointing-- I usually can count on Panasonic products, but this one had a distinct background hum
-
This radio is excellent I like it
-
very good service as I
