The USB port is a great feature, in addition to the CD player which is working well for us so far.
I've never had a boombox with a remote control...nice feature
I am very pleased with the way it performs as well as with the sound quality - the tapes sound better than ever.
FYI there are many features only available via the remote
I only wish this could play multiple DVDs, but am just happy to still be able to find something that includes a cassette player and DVD, as well as the radio and USB port.

This is the best Cassette & CD player I have ever owned!

Highly recommend this player with its compact convenience and great sound quality.
Using the same track playing from the USB drive and my .mp3 player, I concluded the .mp3 player was not the culprit for the weaker sound as the track sounded perfect on my Sony MDR V6 headphones (which, by the way, is one top notch headphone itself).
The markings on the plastic are vague as to where to line up the turnscrew

Plays CDs with good sound (not great), radio picks up well which is difficult because I live in the mountains of Oregon, and the tape player is a good extra.
The radio I had used for more than 20 years finally died
This radio is more sensitive to interference than my older cheaper radios
That radio had an awesome sound until I broke the antenna and a button or two.
I'd give this 5 stars except the receiver is low quality and doesn't pull in local radio stations as well as two other cheap radios in the house

I tried unplugging the wireless router which was next to the radio, and I found that if the router is on and the antenna is installed there is static, but if I remove the antenna, the static is removed and the reception is better
Works well, decent reception and plays burned CD's well.

I tried moving the antenna in every direction and every length, I tried unplugging other electronics, my wifi router, even my LED bulbs, to see if I could eliminate some local interference that might be causing it, but I simply could not get a clear signal without a low static noise.

This boombox is lovely, and I like the features, the remote gave me no trouble, but the noise it makes when it's playing a cd is so loud that I'm forced to listen to the music louder than I'd like to at night when I fall asleep
