Panasonic Smart Network 4K Upscaling 3D Blu-Ray Disc & Streaming Player DMP-BDT270 (Silver), WiFi, Miracast

    • The WIFI ENGINERING faulty and no corrective software can correct.
    • At first it was playing DVD's without a problem, however, I tried to set it up with Netflix and it continually had problems loading the intial software
    • The unit would be great, except that the software it runs is shockingly bad
    • The software is very buggy, and also very hard to work with
    • If something newer, supposedly of good quality brand and packed with promising functional software cannot compare to a 5 year old suitcase of a PS3, then it's curtains for this little guy, I am afraid
    • Oh well, just use my smart TV for streaming, which does have vastly better playback software, but obviously that doesn't help with CDs.
    • The software is bad and the user interface is so awkward and it's sluggish.
    • The software (to access apps) is a bit clunky, but overall a good Blu-ray Disc Player
    • The software is easy to navigate and many streaming options.
    • The product was initially released with defective software that prevented the user from accessing many of the online features
    • The latest software fixed many problems that previously existed with this unit
    • Basically, the software is just garbage
    • Since I use it primary for watching Blu-ray Discs, the clunky software isn't much of a problem for me
    • Best Price, and Fast S/H.
    • Very easy o set up and use
    • Rich W
    • Although not at the pace it is capable of due to the continued slowness of FO (no where near a fast as
    • I've had this receiver hooked up for about a week and it seems to play all of the movies i've recorded and non HD movies,I don't know if i'm seeing things, but it seems to bring the full quality out of a non HD disc, when it comes to Blue ray discs,i'm very happy with the quality on those, there so clear and sharp,as for the wifi updates i'm not sure as i'm in the process of trying to get the wifi
    • I really appreciate that this player displays closed captions with Netflix as well as with Amazon; older models did not do so
    • The player is excellent both for streaming video as well as for playing DVD's and Blurays
    • Blu-ray was fantastic, and my "Avatar 3D" movie was phenomenal on all 3 - I would say just as good as when I saw it in 3D at the movie theater
    • if you don't it seems to jump around and cause hangups or dropouts as the default is no selection) and even over an 2M cable feed have experienced no delays or dropouts over about 10 hours of watching Netflex
    • Rmote not as flexible as i'd like, neeeds to control reciever as the old one did
    • I just watched my first Blu-Ray DVD, and was blown away at the video, as well as, the audio quality
    • Netflix streaming built into software as well as
    • Had to return it because it overheated and smelled as if it was burning
    • Great Blu-ray, I use it frequently for normal Blu-rays as well as
    • I hope you enjoy this player as much as we do.
    • , I stream shows and movies through this all the time and it works excellent (as long as you have enough bandwidth 3Mbps is actually probably enough)
    • If you don't have a Smart TV, get this baby and you won't miss a
    • I applaud Panasonic for trying something new and it does work rather well once you get used to it, I just wish the streaming services (or "internet" function) was accessible through the home screen menu as well as through the physical button on the remote (*see update)
    • Optical disc playback is good, no problems even though I use a lot of DVD-/+ R and RW discs, as well as BD-R and RE, both single and double layer
    • Press Win button + r , type cmd, type ipconfig
