I purchased this for playback only, but this unit is Wi-Fi ready, so if you choose, you can access the internet which will enable you to enjoying U-tube, Netflix, etc.

They have promised that a supervisor or second level technician will call me back in 24-48 hours at least four times, not a single call, although I did get an email asking me to try a whole list of things all of which I had already done multiple times, mostly with their "techs" on the line so the ticket should reflect it, all of them to troubleshoot how my network didn't work, ignoring the fact every other device in the house is fine and this one can play full movies from Netflix without so much as a hiccup!!!The last time I contacted them they decided that the unit may be faulty ("ya think!?"

However, after only 19 months, the unit died.

This player is an excellent unit, its picture quality and the sound is bright and has nothing to envy to a higher unit cost

The issue of it not ejecting might be misinterpreted as having a mind of its own but is likely just how slow this unit responds

My Sony, much more expensive/sophisticated unit, does not have this capability

Unfortunately, this unit, like so many, only have a NETFLIX priority button.

Once I established the network connection and started using it, I really like this unit and I'm glad I'm able to use a unit of this size instead of rearranging and entire shelving unit to accommodate a different one that's a few inches wider.

Speaking of network connections, keep in mind that this unit only works on the 2.4 Ghz band and does not work on the 5 Ghz band.

Like most of our electronic purchases, we purchased this unit through Amazon.com.

I've only had this unit for 24 hours and it has already lost the wireless connection three separate times.

Don't buy this or any other Panasonic item unless you want a useless unit.
