Though I currently have the player hard-wired to the router (prefer the reliability), I did test the WiFi connectivity out of academic curiosity with the router about 15-ft away and experienced no connectivity problems with Netflix or Pandora

There is also a hard wired network connection if you would prefer to use that.

I give this system 5 stars because in using it primarily for what it was made for (playing blu-ray discs with BD Live function) it performs fast and flawlessly, and I would highly recommend just using the hard wire ethernet connection

I understand that it has WI-FI, but WI-FI is subject to all kinds of interference and simply can't match a hard-wired connection for a quality signal.

I purchased this player to utilize its WiFi and Netflix capability in a location where I don't have a hard wired LAN connection and the TV doesn't have internet capability

I used a hard wired internet connection rather than WiFi since I have a sling box router behind my home entertainment setup, and the blu ray player found the internet connection with no problem.

Optical disc playback is good, no problems even though I use a lot of DVD-/+ R and RW discs, as well as BD-R and RE, both single and double layer
