    Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

    • Thus, Mario embarks on a grand quest to battle a dangerous new enemy and stop a devious plot that involves taking over the world
    • There are a few combinations of attacks that defeat most enemies, so most of the battles are fought the same way.- Uninspired level design: players are forced to walk back and forth across levels in order to complete quests, even though one time through a level would be plenty for many people
    • These items can range from mushrooms to restore some lost HP, to hammers to harm you to even money (to buy items). In battle, you're only allowed to have one partner out at a time, each with their own unique abilities, and some of your partners attacks may not harm certain enemies, so you'll have to find which one of your partners causes damage to certain enemies
    • You have to use knowledge you've learned while playing to attack and defeat enemies
    • The game is also frame based, so when I am trying to move through an area, I can kill the enemies first and then navigate obstacles without having to worry about being attacked since enemies do not regenerate until you leave the frame.
    • Bob-ombs explode killing people around it while some enemies will go and eat or the kill the audience for life force
    • On harder enemies, you may wish to use some of your FP (firepower) to perform a stronger attack
    • Additionally, some enemies can strike you and attack from offscreen; the ability to zoom out to get a wider view would have been most welcome
    • Battles are, not surprisingly, instigated when you attack an enemy or they attack you
    • Not only do you, your partner (can't have more than one partner out on stage), and enemies take turns attacking each other, but the interactivity is through the roof
    • Likewise, some of Marios attacks may not harm enemies, so you'll be equipping various different badges and using many items to see what works on enemies
    • They can throw power-ups if they like you, but help your enemy if they don't like you
    • Apparently from what Intelligent Systems has stated, this isnt their official rpg series anymore so starting in Wii and forward, everything just sucked and it all shows- horrible sprites, enemies, crappy bosses (except computer dragon boss that goes haywire), terrible levels with no thought to them at all.
    • U have to choose what move u want to do to defeat each enemy and it takes forever especially if its a boss
    • Some enemies will only be hurt by one item or one attack
    • You want to attack an enemy
