In the end, deciding to continue with the varity I generally use versus changing to the Paper Mate Mates exclusively it will be a trade off between price and uncomfortable feel versus great lead and very good erasers.

I use them daily, just make sure to leave them in a small pencil pouch, or the box, because the eraser falls out easily and you lose your lead.

I agree that the erasers on these things suck, but the lead sizes being strong enough to take all manner of beatings from my heavy handed children more than makes up for it to me.

It has a slight triangular shape and writes well but the erasers are terrible.

If the erasers were better and replacements were easy to find, I'd give this pencil high marks--especially for kids since the shape is nice and the lead is sturdy.

So to sum up, these are on par with traditional pencils for led breakage, but surpass traditional pencils with the ease of use (no pencil sharpener!) and replaceable erasers.

Only problem is the erasers seem to somewhat easily fall out and the kids lose them.

The points are not as sharp as you get with sharpened wooden pencils and the triangular shape is much easier to grasp and hold in proper writing and drawing position that the average wooden pencil.

It took me awhile to realize it was her favorite because the lead didn’t break nearly as much as with other mechanical pencils

Only mechanical pencil I will use because it doesn't break off as you write.
