I have always hated mechanical pencils with led breaking constantly and other malfunctions.

I press heavy when I write and these pencils let me wrote WITHOUT the stupid lead breaking.

She has been using the same pencil for two weeks, no lead breaking or running out

I throw a couple in my bag and don't have to worry about the led breaking while we're out

Yes, I have had the led break and it isn't perfect, but I'd say it's on equal footing with traditional pencils as far as issues with broken led and other frustrations go.

These pencils are great - lead breaks infrequently, price point is right, brightly colored enough that I can grab them right from my pencil cup for those students who sometimes have trouble with holding narrower pencils or aren't comfortable writing in pen

The points are not as sharp as you get with sharpened wooden pencils and the triangular shape is much easier to grasp and hold in proper writing and drawing position that the average wooden pencil.
