Love this set because it has the extra erasers (oddly shaped and hard to replace any other way) as well as extra lead.

I don't mind too much the smoothness, but the fatness and triangular shape are most uncomfortable and frustrating and in no way resemble any wooden pencils I have used

The shape and thickness worked out perfect

I also love the shape because I am no longer picking up pencils off the ground all day and don't need to pencil grips added to make them comfortable.

The wider,rounded, triangular shape of the pencil makes it comfortable the my students to hold also

If the erasers were better and replacements were easy to find, I'd give this pencil high marks--especially for kids since the shape is nice and the lead is sturdy.

Nice shape for a child's hand, but we'll see if these survive the rest of the school year!

The triangular shape of the eraser would make it almost impossible to replace with a topper eraser.

I've given several of my pencils away to co-workers who also were looking for this kind dark, smooth writing pencil lead,Paper Mate Mates 1.3mm Mechanical Pencil Starter Set, 5 Colored Barrel Mechanical Pencils (1868817) and the more comfortable trianglur shape help not only while using the pencil but keeps if from rolling around on my desk.

It took me awhile to realize it was her favorite because the lead didn’t break nearly as much as with other mechanical pencils

Only mechanical pencil I will use because it doesn't break off as you write.

The points are not as sharp as you get with sharpened wooden pencils and the triangular shape is much easier to grasp and hold in proper writing and drawing position that the average wooden pencil.
