PDP Universal Media Remote Control for PS4, TV, Cable Box & Audio Receiver

    • Everything works great, the only negative thing I have about this item is when the batteries start to die it doesn't control my tv as well with the buttons I ptogrammed.
    • when the cost of the device with remote has some profit margin, this is fairly inexpensive, so even cheap batteries cut into the profit.
    • Like with any bluetooth device, the battery shuts off after little use...which is fine with me.
    • Because the remote uses bluetooth to connect to the PS4, it slowly drains the batteries throughout the entire duration of use
    • It's super easy to pair to the PS4 over Bluetooth, once you find batteries, and works flawlessly
    • we will see when the batteries are changed if it still does not work
    • The remote worked for about 3 days, we started with new batteries, but we thought perhaps the batteries were bad, tried switching out batteries again.
    • but it is cheap and very nice not to have to waste my PS4 controllers battery.
    • The ONLY part of the remote that turns off after 30 minutes is the PS4 bluetooth functionality just like the Dualshock which makes sense since bluetooth would drain the battery
    • This is a great remote, i thought it would drain battery much faster due to the blue tooth connectivity to the
    • I try to use it today and the batteries are dead.
    • The PlayStation function auto turns itself off just like the DS4 controllers, the results excellent battery life.
    • This prevents your controllers from draining their batteries while you sit and watch movies.
    • Great remote but get reusable batteries because it died every other day.
    • good remote for ps4, bad battery life
    • Good batteries still works for the tv but no longer tries to pair with the PlayStation.
    • Great battery life thus far as well.
    • The ONLY criticisim I have of this product is that because it uses a Bluetooth connection, it does drain the batteries rather quickly, even with the remote set to auto-shutoff after a certain period of time
    • Works with PS4 an our TV (Panasonic)Good battery
    • Basically it's the SAME lousy remote as the previous version--only with better battery life
    • It creaks and makes noises, some times the buttons don't register on the first push, it eats batteries (seriously, how hard would it be to have a micro usb charging socket like on the PS4 controllers!?), and like I said it feels cheap
    • This remote is nice to have but the battery doesn't last long at all like our old remote for the PlayStation 3
    • batteries dies quick but came handy
    • Never worked, thought my batteries were bad.
    • so your batteries will die like an 80s Walkman
    • The batteries died after a month of use, even with the power save feature that shut it off automatically after a half hour, and then it completely quit working after about 2 months
    • Works decently, however batteries die so fastfast in it
    • Much better than PS4 controller...buy rechargeable batteries and your good...batteries last awhile u have 4aaa energizer
    • Works decently, however batteries die so fastfast in it
    • so your batteries will die like an 80s Walkman
    • (Using cheap Dollar-store batteries, PS4 settings set to turn off controllers if they are not used in 10 minutes).Pros:-This remote can handle your TV, Cable Box (don't have one), Home Theater, and of course your PS4.-You can teach it functions from other remotes (I taught it the "Input" and "Menu" functions for my Home Theater.-Easy but tedious to connect
    • I thought it would be easy for my wife to use but it turned out to be a pain in the ass and lives in the drawer, slowy draining the AAA batteries I wasted on it.
    • They say it is to save battery life but is total bs since the PS3 one worked fine.
    • , all the buttons work as it was intended
    • We bought this remote in December 2017 and it has stopped working as of February 25
    • oops.this hasnt completely stopped that b/c i am NOTORIOUS, i tell you, but its not nearly as bad as with a controller
    • First the good news: it has both Bluetooth and IR capabilities, meaning it works as a universal remote, potentially able to control your whole entertainment system, and decluttering your desktop
