PDP Wired Fight Pad for Wii U - Yoshi

    • Works well, the A Button needs a heavier press than normal controllers but it all works fine
    • Works well, the A Button needs a heavier press than normal controllers but it all works fine
    • the joy sticks are firm and the buttons are responsive and ive had like zero problems at all*no rumble - but that doesn't affect the game play for
    • The buttons got sticky within a week on 3 of them
    • When playing Mario Kart 8, those buttons are important, and the way they are actually hinders my gameplay
    • After about 2 more months with the other controller, that X button broke as well!
    • Kind of hate the L and R buttons, you have to press them pretty far to turn them on
    • The buttons are fantastic, the control pad is great for virtual console games, but the sticks are so awful they ruin everything else
    • The buttons are responsive and have good spring-back
    • I was pivoting Smashes to punish spammed Falcon Kicks, but my L-Stick Rubber tore off from the sharpness of my left-right switching, and my A button got depressed into the controller
    • The left and right top buttons also performed the same function (run).I was a bit surprised to see a wire on this controller.
    • The buttons are sensitive but not overly so and the placement is acceptable for right handed people and left handed people will have to adjust.
    • The buttons are laid out perfectly and work just like OEM
    • The buttons initially show promise with well conditioned springs for a good button press and the joystick feels smooth when simply moving it around.
    • Other than compatibility issues the controller is wonderful once the buttons are a bit broken in.
    • The buttons are super sticky, it's annoying
    • (Luigi version, but I doubt the color effects performance any)lightweight, responsive buttons, sticks work well
    • The buttons are responsive and the L and R buttons are nice and clicky
    • I have a problem with arthritis and these buttons are pretty easy to use
    • I could not use the joystick to select my player, and all the buttons were unresponsive not allowing me to back out or even select the default
    • While Nintendont does recognize the Wii U pro controller, it won't work with the Hyperkin ProCube, which I was going to use to get an authentic button layout.
    • The analog sticks are too high and the buttons don't feel right to me
    • This is a good thing in general for hitting those top shoulder buttons, but doesn't feel as ergonomically satisfying as the original.2) Couple this with the fact that retro titles in Wii Mode register the top shoulder buttons (ZL/ZR) instead of the more comfortable and traditional L and R buttons and it feels like this controller slightly misses the mark on delivering an enjoyable game session across the board.
    • The Right Control Stick is the big protruding bottom right-handside button
    • The buttons would just stop working
    • The build quality is ok and the buttons are decent.
    • Not a fan of the long pull on the LZ and RZ triggers, but every other button is great
    • The ZL/ZR buttons are too recessed so your finger will hit the gamepad shell before the button is fully depressed
    • Despite My hopes for this controller, aside from it's gorgeous look, it is atrocious: it's too thick, big, bulky; the buttons feel too different from the original GameCube, so they failed mimicking that; they didn't map the L, R, ZL, and ZR buttons correctly (as in change them from the classic, like the Hori did), so when you go to shield, you grab, or when you go to grind (in Mario Kart Wii), you look behind you
    • I recommend this to anyone who has a wiiu or Wii as working 100% all buttons and analogs are easy to use and it works universal even on GameCube games on the wiiu .
    • Well, this PDP pad follows the NAMING convention of the WiiU/Classic Controller Pro - top "buttons" are L & R and the bottom "triggers" are ZL & ZR
    • After about 2 more months with the other controller, that X button broke as well!
    • The A & B buttons on this PDP pad feel more flat - which I dont' particularly like - whereas the Hori Pad feels more rounded
    • I'm used to the GameCube controller, and this one is a little smaller, which makes it a little harder to hit the correct buttons, specially when trying to hit the R and L buttons
    • Basically I don't like using the top right shoulder button in RE0 to aim, I wanted to use the larger more comfortable button below it, whatever it's called on Wii/Wii U.This controller is light, and built
    • After continuing to use the controller, it's gotten so bad that I can only play for about 20 minutes at a time before the A button will stay depressed
    • All buttons feel great.
    • Fortunately the HORI controller is nothing like that and both sets of buttons are comfortable to access and don't require you to sink the buttons down into a cavernous recess
    • It has a nice retro look to it, the buttons are solid, and according to my gamers, it is much better to use on some of the "older" Nintendo games than what comes with the Wii.
    • The buttons feel comfortable to press and the design is ergonomic
    • After about 3 months of use, the X button (jump) broke.
    • The right trigger button sticks sometimes
    • The buttons and sticks are unresponsive

    • The pricing of the Super Smash Bros. Edition GameCube Controller is expected to be $30 (pre-order price is $30 but who knows if market price is going to be more expensive or not) and requires a $20 adapter that hooks up to 4 controllers (http://www.amazon.com/Super-Smash-GameCube-Adapter-Wii-U/dp/B00L3LQ1FI/ref=pd_bxgy_vg_img_y) while the fightpad is priced at $25
    • Bright red and blue, the ability to not have to use the remote or game pad, this definitely made using the Wii U a lot easier for me.
    • Fantastic for people who grew up with a GameCube and find the Wii U pad uncomfortable to hold
    • It feels like a normal gamecube controller and it works like a clssic controller pro\classic controller, this means that it have the ZL\ZR triggers and two bumps, for a total of 4 back buttons (L,R,ZL and ZR); it also have a Start\+ button, a Select\- button and a Home button, and it works great on platformes (like freedom planet) fighting games (smash bros u and brawl) and works great on homebrews
    • I so prefer playing wii u with this controller, I play every wii u game with it
    • This is actually a pretty great Wii U classic controller/pro
    • These controllers have the advantage of working with old Wii games played on the Wii U as well as new games like Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8.A pro player might be able to notice lag or stick
    • I bought this on sale to use with the Wii U Smash Bros, and it is a pretty great controller for the cheap price.
    • To the people who already own a wiimote from the previous gen console Wii, and who would want to try it on their computer with amazingly improved graphics (with the right settings) on the dolphin emulator, and to those who want to play the gamecube games (on the dolphin emulator), wii games, AND the Wii U games with the feel of the gamecube controller (this product also works on Wii U b/c Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii) , I recommend this
    • Got this for my son so he could play Smash bros on wii U and he has played the heck out of it with no problems
    • This remote makes playing the wii u easy and enjoyable
