PDP Wired Fight Pad for Wii U - Yoshi

    • Basically it's a brand new GameCube controller that is Zelda themed and really smonth, pretty fantastic.
    • If you want a remote with game versatility and feels very similar to the good old GameCube remote, definitely think about this remote.
    • Simple, when using one of these, the triggers are a simple click for deploying shields and do not have the travel distance of the triggers on genuine Gamecube controllers.
    • Its a good GameCube Controller
    • This controller is actually nearly identical in shape to Gamestop's terrible Gamecube controller that they sold new for $15 back when Gamecube was still the main Nintendo console
    • The pricing of the Super Smash Bros. Edition GameCube Controller is expected to be $30 (pre-order price is $30 but who knows if market price is going to be more expensive or not) and requires a $20 adapter that hooks up to 4 controllers (http://www.amazon.com/Super-Smash-GameCube-Adapter-Wii-U/dp/B00L3LQ1FI/ref=pd_bxgy_vg_img_y) while the fightpad is priced at $25
    • If you are wanting a good gamecube-styled Classic Controller for WiiU, then get the Hori Battle Pad
    • The analog buttons feel very easy to move, while the gamecube's feel much sturdier
    • Like any other GameCube controller (you don't need a GameCube adapter)
    • I use a GameCube controller for almost every Wii game compatible with it and Smash as well as all my Gamecube games of course
    • The controller feels decent and reminds me of a gc controller in shape, but it has been a pretty frustrating going to a controller that has definite issues over the old, reliable gamecube controllers that we've all logged thousands of hours on
    • It doesn't feel too high quality, but it is durable, and does a great job of replicating the awesome GameCube controller
    • Pros:-Responsive, better than gamecube controller
    • The controller in design gives a good look that would sway a lot of classic gamecube players and some people who are looking for another type of controller to work on their Wii U (myself included.)

    • I love how Nintendo made their new WiiU remotes to feel like the Gamecube controllers that I adore the most, but the sleek and pretty new design was (understandably) different from the original
    • It's exactly the same size as a Gamecube controller and a bit more comfortable due to the different shaping on the back side
    • The C-stick is the same as the left thumbstick which might make it get in the way; and while I like the look of the gem buttons, they don't feel quite as responsive as the original Gamecube controller
    • NOTE: when choosing what controller mode to use in-game be sure to choose classic remote NOT Gamecube because the buttons are slightly different.
    • Almost as good as a gamecube controller.
    • One of the most disappointing things about this product is it doesn't feel as comfortable as the original GameCube controller like I was expecting and hoping for
    • Perfect transition from the classic gamecube controller
    • Works as it should.
    • Maybe I'm being picky, and I only gave one star off for it, but IMO you just should not have to depress a
    • Came with a free downloadable Prima e-guide for Luigi, so you may just want to Stop at local Game store, for that bonus.

    • Bright red and blue, the ability to not have to use the remote or game pad, this definitely made using the Wii U a lot easier for me.
    • Fantastic for people who grew up with a GameCube and find the Wii U pad uncomfortable to hold
    • It feels like a normal gamecube controller and it works like a clssic controller pro\classic controller, this means that it have the ZL\ZR triggers and two bumps, for a total of 4 back buttons (L,R,ZL and ZR); it also have a Start\+ button, a Select\- button and a Home button, and it works great on platformes (like freedom planet) fighting games (smash bros u and brawl) and works great on homebrews
    • I so prefer playing wii u with this controller, I play every wii u game with it
    • This is actually a pretty great Wii U classic controller/pro
    • These controllers have the advantage of working with old Wii games played on the Wii U as well as new games like Smash Brothers and Mario Kart 8.A pro player might be able to notice lag or stick
    • I bought this on sale to use with the Wii U Smash Bros, and it is a pretty great controller for the cheap price.
    • To the people who already own a wiimote from the previous gen console Wii, and who would want to try it on their computer with amazingly improved graphics (with the right settings) on the dolphin emulator, and to those who want to play the gamecube games (on the dolphin emulator), wii games, AND the Wii U games with the feel of the gamecube controller (this product also works on Wii U b/c Wii U is backwards compatible with Wii) , I recommend this
    • Got this for my son so he could play Smash bros on wii U and he has played the heck out of it with no problems
    • This remote makes playing the wii u easy and enjoyable
    • Came with a free downloadable Prima e-guide for Luigi, so you may just want to Stop at local Game store, for that bonus.
