The bezel has some pretty nasty scratches, but NO chips or anything of the sort, and the band has been much more durable than you'd think, though it is hot as hell

A few major changes and upgrades: color screen, better battery life (about a week), easier navigation, water resistant, better charger design, and my favorite, a RIDICULOUSLY comfortable band.

The band is very secure (this is important since I lost my first fitness tracker when the band failed).I think this is a perfect smartwatch for someone who just does not need anything terribly fancy or expensive.

The only Pebbles that one should be cautious about are the original due to a display issue that you may have fix on your own, and the fragile 14" band Pebble Time Round: you will definitely need a screen protector and a glass one is recommended for that one

I was also worried it would look chintzy cheap plasticy or too masculine, and it does not - the bezel is a nice brushed dark gunmetal, and the band is a velvety black, does not scream exercise watch.
