I prefer Goldeneye because of its Golden Gun mode, but Perfect Dark is right up there for those who lack that preference

The N64 became a bit of a party machine around the house here with the Mario Party games, the WWF/WCW wrestling games, racers and of course, Goldeneye

Rare was known for making some excellent games for the N64; Goldeneye 007, Banjo Kazooie and Tooie, DK64, Blast Corps, Diddy Kong Racing, the list goes on

Goldeneye was a classic, this is a masterpiece

Don't get me wrong, I love Goldeneye, but since I've got both Perfect Dark and Goldeneye, I find myself playing Goldeneye much less.

When I first got Perfect Dark, I was afraid that like most videogame sequels it wouldn't surprass its revolutionary predeccesor, Goldeneye.

Then I got Perfect Dark, and I felt like throwing Goldeneye out the window

It isn't a dramatic difference, but Goldeneye had graphics far ahead of its time to begin with, and this game still satisfies

If you liked 007 Goldeneye, then you have to play this.

The wide range of weapons is one of the major improvements over its predecessor, GoldenEye, as well as the unique plot (after all, this one isn't based on a movie).

It exceeds Goldeneye in every way possible

Fourth, the multiplayer is every bit as good as and better than Goldeneye, which many consider to be the best multiplayer ever.

And this, Snowboard Kids 2, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 64, Goldeneye 007, Wave Race 64, Diddy Kong Racing, Pokemon Stadium and Mario 64 (even though I've overplayed the latter three) are worth owning a N64 again for

The funny thing is is that this game wasn't nearly as hyped up as Goldeneye and infact, this beats Goldeneye.

If you thought Goldeneye was good

10/10 Goldeneye set the bar when it was released, and Perfect Dark surpasses it, beautifly

And this was the first 3-D futuristic game to be done right in my opinion.
