One of my favorite things about Persona 5 is that some games promise longer hours of gameplay by creating irritating difficulty spikes as the story progresses to make the game longer, and yes Persona 5 does have one difficulty spike around the third dungeon, however it's easy to get over with a bit of grinding, and the gameplay is enjoyable enough to not mind much

One great thing about it is that the dungeons ("palaces" in P5) feature actual level design variation, instead of floor after floor of a single tileset

I looked up ONE thing about the game while I was playing and it led to a huge spoiler that I wish I could have experienced blind.
