The first one had to have a hard reset shortly after I received

Turned them on last week and the sound quality was low and muddy even at max volume- double checked all phone audio settings- after an email to Phaiser customer service, was instructed to do a "hard reset" by holding all the buttons....did not help

The volume controls worked sporadically and when I contacted the manufacturer they started our by telling me to let them dry out and retry them and if that didn't work then do a hard reset.

And yes, update firmware, phone os, reboot, hard reset, you name it

Fortunately the hard reset they suggested took care of the problem immediately.
