I decided to buy this as a background light for my PC set up since my desk isn’t big enough to support a regular sized lamp with a Phillips Hue bulb on it

However, what a great lamp for sitting in the corner of a room on top of a table where you want some light, but don't want to put a large lamp, or any standing lamp for that matter.

I am very pleased to say that this is basically a bright lamp with the added bonus that it can be disconnected from the wall for about 3 hours on battery

I want to like the Philips Hue Go Smart lamp, but it makes no sense

This lamp looks nice, and works as advertised.

Loved the lamp but can't get it to work with my Alexa without the "bridge" which was not included with the lamp and the lamp description did not mention it was needed.

I like this lamp and it light effects, however to fully enjoy all its features another accesory is needed, hence the 4 stars, the app should control the lamp right out of the box

I think everyone should have a fun magic lamp, they are just great!

This is the only portable Hue lamp and unlike the Bloom's opaque shell, this one has side illumination

Having already enjoyed some of the other Hue bulbs, I was interested in finding a good-looking lamp for my desk that would also light up the rest of my bedroom easily

This lamp does that pretty well, for something so small

I currently have 4 Hue Go's placed around my apartment for wall and accent lighting and 5 color A19 bulbs in lamps, and I have to say, the eco system definitely improves as you add more of these
