Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock with Sunrise Simulation and Radio, White (HF3505)

    • I understand that the brightest level is designed to be seen through the actual lamp but the low setting is still enough to make sleeping difficult if you prefer a dark room
    • Digital clock display is too bright even on the dimmest setting: I do have mine on the dimmest setting, and while it's a bit darker than most other alarm clocks, I agree that it would be nice if there were an even dimmer setting available
    • In addition, since my room is already lit up by the very bright "10" setting, it already feels like the day has begun.
    • First, I really like the idea, and it is a great set up
    • Unfortunately, what I received is a clock that even on it's dimmest setting has BRIGHT RED NUMBERS THAT COULD
    • However... in the morning, when the 30 minute sunrise has just ended, and you're trying to turn off the alarm but the lamp is on its brightest setting, you're kind of staring into the sun to try and find the alarm off button
    • I don't mind that the dimmest clock display setting could be
    • The clock display does go down in brightness and its lowest setting isn't bright enough to wake me up, but I still wish I could turn it off completely
    • Digital clock display is too bright even on the dimmest setting: I do have mine on the dimmest setting, and while it's a bit darker than most other alarm clocks, I agree that it would be nice if there were an even dimmer setting available
    • Even at the brightest setting, the light is simply too small to be effective
    • The manual is a disaster, and like most manuals, has the worst set up directions ever written
