I changed the earcup pads to the XL memory foam size and it was better, but not as good as for example the Sony or KEF in comfort level.

Leather covering the headband is a bit more shiny and the Philips Fidelio is embossed a bit deeper on the first unit but not applied as well as on the second unit.5
