ALL THE NEW BATCH IS LIKE THIS

There is a known substandard batch of these that has the earpads glued to the headset, which you can read about in the rest of the comments

It's just sad to know that I got one from the bad batch

There have been a rash of bad reviews on this product perhaps there was a bad batch

I purchased a pair of headphones in December 2015 which were apparently a part of a defective batch that had glued head pads

Great headphones really, but I don't know when the bad batches will stop.

I changed the earcup pads to the XL memory foam size and it was better, but not as good as for example the Sony or KEF in comfort level.

Leather covering the headband is a bit more shiny and the Philips Fidelio is embossed a bit deeper on the first unit but not applied as well as on the second unit.5
