The clarity very clear

Clarity is very important

Sound is very refined with great clarity, a bit warm with the entire spectrum seemingly emphasized

At the time, I was looking for a "do-it-all" set of cans that would offer the wonderful clarity of the k701s, but also satisfactory bass (which I felt that the k701s were missing)

The long stock cable not only skews up the whole sound stage and clarity but also the dynamic

Clarity is great also and overall they reproduce the most enjoyable sound

Coming from the Audio Technica's the clarity on the X2's is startling....just so much detail being revealed

I would describe the X2's as having great clarity and ability to expose the fine detail of LPs and CDs, as well as the inferior audio quality of Youtube and many MP3s.

Bringing out vocals in even better clarity

I "Fii0 amp-boost" the treble slightly to improve clarity and am happy with that fix. .

Sound Quality (Impeccable Clarity

The headphone have amazing recreation of surround sound and great depth and clarity

The X2 achieved superior clarity and soundstage with a flat EQ (and honestly I think they don't need EQing at all)

Overall sound quality is somewhat similar, but personally I prefer the midrange clarity of the HD600

Not only do these have excellent clarity of sound, the bass is bumpy and prominent

I like Sennheiser HD 8, which has more bass and added flavor (but not good in comfort) but at the same listening music or movies with Philips X2/27 is very pleasant and the sound clarity is crisp

Amazing clarity of sound

With my humble FiiO E11K or C&C BH amps and my iPod Classic, the X2s are simply as much as I could want in a headphone

I changed the earcup pads to the XL memory foam size and it was better, but not as good as for example the Sony or KEF in comfort level.

Leather covering the headband is a bit more shiny and the Philips Fidelio is embossed a bit deeper on the first unit but not applied as well as on the second unit.5

I have a more neutral set of phones (AKG 701s) that I like a
