Love the smaller mm!
-
The 1.0mm is my favorite for thick, bold writing
-
I have been using the pilot G2 .05mm for years and loved them but just recently made the switch to .38, to my delight they are even better
-
The 0.5mm and the 0.38mm are awesome for very small and still legible writing (like in a Moleskine notebook at 1/16" tall letters)
-
.38mm is awesome for precision writing, drawing, plotting when you need a pen with a degree of fine for a freshly sharpened pencil tip, but it’s not nearly as good for general usage
-
However, as nice as these are, I still prefer the Pentel EnerGel-X Retractable Liquid Gel Pen 0.5mm, Needle Tip, Assorted Ink (3 Pack) (BLN105BP3M
-
The 0.38 mm works great for any sort of small or precise writing
-
So Pilot G2 pens are my only choice, usually the 0.5mm (extra fine point), but I keep the 0.7 (fine point) and the 0.38 (ultra fine point) available too
-
I love the G2 0.5mm, but I wanted something more precise, so i went with these
-
The .38mm are good for cramming lots of notes into something, they seem to get used the most.
-
The problem is that they don't feel as smooth as the 0.5mm when I write
-
I personally really enjoy using the finer 0.38mm ones for my notebooks
-
The 0.38 mm works great for any sort of small or precise writing
-
These pens are the "fine" point (0.7mm AKA G2-07) and they are my favorite for all-around usage
-
I love the Pilot G2 Ultra Fine (0.38 mm) point
-
These write as smooth as any other G2, but give you a level of precision you won't get from even the normal fine point (0.5 mm)
-
Therefore, these 0.38 mm is perfect for my son hand writing.
-
I write pretty small, and the extra fine (0.5mm) and ultra fine (0.38mm) are perfect for me
