ps if you want an even sharper line or just a spare nib purchase a pilot penmanship with the extra fine then swap them.

Pilot is a Japanese company, and they require finer lines.

I thought that meant that I should exchange for a medium nib, but there are times when the ink flows out in a nice, thick and dark line

The fine nib creates a nice fine line when writing at a normal to light pressure (which I appreciate, I prefer fine pens, usually 0.5mm, but the G2s often don't flow well enough for how fast I write

I prefer (EF) western nibs or (F) Japanese nibs that produce very fine lines with moderate ink flow, so this pen is perfect for me

In appearance, the pen has pleasant lines and is simplistically elegant.

But may be a thicker line is more suitable for signature.

I have many of these 'bargain-price-range' fountain pens and this is by far the smoothest-writing, nice fine line, easy to fill and is now my go-to for every-day use.
