Pretty good quality
-
The Pilot Metropolitan Pen is proof that cost doesn't always equate quality, good or bad
-
AMAZING quality for the price
-
Good quality
-
Highest quality Classic "Old School" fountain pen but pales in comparison to "Modern" fountain pens
-
Very poor quality control.
-
Love the pen; really great quality and finishes; however doesn't work that well with the pilot ink from the bottle
-
The quality is surprisingly good for a 12 dollar pen, and it coming with an ink converter is a huge bonus
-
If you are looking for a good, quality pen at a VERY good price, look no further.
-
Easy to use, good quality
-
Quality was better than I anticipated for $15.
-
Won't regret the purchase for good quality at a low price.
-
Nice quality pen
-
A beautiful pen with a great writing quality and ability.
-
And finally I always use a good quality ink and fill cartridges myself.
-
The quality is so nice
-
The quality is amazing and they're very beautiful.
-
Better than expected quality and I like the black neutral finish.
-
Very nice quality for the price
-
Use only one page if you really want to or only use it on good quality paper
-
As far as fountain pens go my experience has been from owning a couple of vintage Japanese refillable pens, a found Mont Blanc for several hours until returning it to it's rightful owner and a whole heap of cheap pilot, Parker cartridge pens with shoddy and ugly gold plated nibs.. and a few of those "calligraphy set" type junkers.. the build quality of the Metropolitan is phenomenal
-
Nice quality pen for the price.
-
The pen feels heavy enough from a good quality build but not too heavy for discomfort
-
For general writing on poor quality paper, this isn't a huge deal
-
Nice, cheap, high quality pen
-
Excellent nib quality and great feel in the hand
-
But if you want a decent quality, low cost fountain pen this works.
-
The build quality is quite nice for the price
-
I have been a fan of fountain pens since my college days and have had an assortment through the years, but eventually turned to ballpoints because I couldn't afford a good quality pen with a fine nib.
-
I have used many different fountain pens, in terms of functionality, this pen is up to the task, the minor gripe I have with this pen, is it is senstive to the paper you use, if the paper is not of good quality, the pen can be scratchy, I know this can be a personal preference issue, some folks may like a little more feedback from their pen, I generally like smooth nib
-
Although I wish it were heavier, that's when the superior ink quality of Pilot comes into play
-
Great quality and it writes smoothly.
-
Very good quality for a pen at this price.
-
The quality of this fountain pen is very impressive, considering that I only paid $13 for it.
-
Nice quality writing instrument.
-
Of course not but as a pen its writes very nicely, doesn't leak, and is very good quality
-
, these look nice and feel nice and write nice when they work, but they are cheap plastic cr*p quality.
-
Well balances, good ink flow, good quality materials and fit and finish
-
For less than $12 though, the pen is of amazing quality and feels great in the hand
-
but I think next time I might look to spend a little more for a little better quality
-
Good quality at a good price
-
Nice, cheap, high quality pen
-
It's really good quality, especially for the price
-
When writing on poor quality loose-leaf paper, it doesn't do justice to the pen at all
-
Excellent quality, regardless of the money
-
This pen will write on any paper, but, the better quality the paper, the better experience and results
-
I am very disappointed of this bad quality.
-
It's a great quality pen for a reasonable price.
-
Inexpensive, but good quality
-
Awesome quality for the price
-
GREAT QUALITY
-
good quality product.
-
Nice quality
-
Overall, the pen feels like great quality
-
I store it in its case to prevent scratching but the surface is durable.this is a metal pen - not plastic :) lovely quality.
-
It's a very good quality pen and it also comes with a case!
-
My Bulow Pen was reasonably priced, Excellent quality, wide selection of nibs and pens, replaceable KNOX points, convertible, has ink pumper in it, uses Intnl
-
Great quality for the price.
-
Very nice quality
-
Very inexpensive, yet a high quality pen
-
I get many compliments on it and the writing quality is phenomenal
-
Wonderful quality and especially for the price.
-
Love the pen; really great quality and finishes; however doesn't work that well with the pilot ink from the bottle
-
I guess it's just poor quality control really, because I just bought the medium sized pen and the lines are even finer and scratchy
-
Good quality
-
This pen is on the cheaper side but also good quality
-
I expected nothing but top quality from Pilot and that is what i got.
-
Poor quality
-
The pen feels heavy and is a very good quality
-
Quality, simplicity, elegant without any nonsense
-
Good quality pen
-
This is a beautiful quality pen and writes with a nice fine script.
-
I was told to start off with this pen, but I figured it was cheap and low quality
-
Great quality!
-
Very affordable BUT VERY GOOD QUALITY!!!!
-
The pen's initial ink catridge is fine, filled with good Pilot quality ink.
-
Good quality for the price point, tends to leak if it sits for too long in my bag.
-
Quality pen, Very durable since it's made of metal instead of plastic and even comes with a
-
Used the pen for total month now, the quality is good and functions great! gives a fluent flow of ink and no spill or leak on use, the texture of metal body and plastic grab gives a good touch on use
-
To truly get an extra fine line, you need to be using top quality paper.
-
good quality for the price.
-
Great quality, just packaged wrong
-
Poor quality ink that came with the pen should be changed out but other than that it is a good buy for the price.
-
The one major complaint I have is the nib is not as high quality
-
I do highly recommend getting a good quality notebook of paper for use
-
Very good build quality, feels good to write with theseRead more
-
Feel and quality are remarkable at this price level.
-
Great quality and amazing price!
-
Poor quality pen that easily breaks.
-
Overall the quality is really good for the price but the convertor needs to change or hold more ink
-
freaking amazing...great quality pen...super consistent &bsmooth writing
-
Otherwise the quality and function of the pen is outstanding.
-
Very poor quality, built with a heavy metal to give off a premium illusion
-
It feels good to grab it and writes well and neatly .It's good quality
-
The nib is excellent quality and writes smoothly (I have the fine because I am a student and write with cheap paper). The issue I have with this pen is that it is a leaker
-
By and large, I'm finding the quality is consistent: one works just about as well as the next
-
Great pen, nice quality.
-
Such a great price for a good quality beginner fountain pen
-
It is very good quality for the price.
-
No one makes a quality pen like Pilot
-
Good quality and won't break the bank
-
It's been my go to pen ever since I bought it, superior quality and functionality
-
It's my first time getting a fountain pen and this is excellent quality for the price
-
Hoping for a little wider tip and better quality ink
-
The quality is very great and sturdy, The refill cartidges are very easy to changes
-
Writes with practically no pressure down, and has a nice quality weight to it
-
Amazing quality ans a very low price!
-
Good quality for the price point, tends to leak if it sits for too long in my bag.
-
The pen feels great in the hand and extended writing sessions are not so fatiguing as with my super fat cigar shaped fountain pens, which I also love
-
The nib is a joy, thin to my tastes, with an almost impossible to miss sweet spot
-
Smooth as can be and getting better the more I use it
-
The grip is nice and wide, so my hand doesn't cramp up as much as it would with your basic Bic
-
I think this, plus a very fine emory board will make it just about perfect as the nib itself is still a little rough under magnification
