Pilot Precise V5 Retractable Blue Pens, Dozen Box, (26063)

    • BEST Ink
    • Their ink takes a bit to dry, and it can bleed onto the previous page if you close the book before the ink is dry.
    • Pros-Reliable-writes on most surfacesCons-short lifespan (uses ink very fast)-expensive-thick line (too much ink is comes out of head)This pen does not write nice thin lines
    • The Pilot Precise V5RT Liquid Ink Refill produces a precise fine line that does not smudge when I am making notes in the margin of my Bible or other books and does not bleed through to the opposite side of the page.
    • great deep purple ink
    • So now it is all PROs - fine point, smooth ink, no cap hassle.
    • Great pens, permanent ink, thin line.
    • The rubber grip is a brilliant touch as the ink is clear and doesn't bleed
    • Smooth ink and beautiful lines
    • Very fine print, no problems with it delivering ink thus far
    • Writes for a long time - very little appreciable ink use when you look at the cartridge
    • Smooth ink and good quality pens
    • The ONLY complaint I could possibly make is that one can not write on 2 sides of a paper with this ink... the ink doesn't bleed ALL the way through, but when filling out forms front & back, there's definitely evidence of the writing on the other side of the paper
    • Once tip is bent, you may need to replace the cartridge- Replacement ink only available for black and blue colors- Price
    • The third time I used the black one it leaked all the ink out
    • The ink is intense and opaque without a lot of heavy bleed-through on most papers (not so great on cheap recycled notebook paper, sadly), and the line is crisp and clear
    • Ink is silky smooth!
    • Upon using the pens, the first pen was a little slow to produce ink but after pushing it harder the ink came through and works like a fine tip roller pen.
    • By far my favorite ink pens now, I write a lot at work and switched to these a few months ago, glad I did.
    • I love this pen except for the annoying ink globbing on the tip after writing for awhile
    • Easy to write with, light weight, smooth ink flow
    • NOTE: once in a while, depending on the seller, you may get a bad ink fill; replace the ink
    • My favorite ink and tip
    • The second ink staining incident in a week and these just arrived Monday.
    • I love razor thin pens that you can use a very light touch and yet get consistent ink flow.
    • The fine point is excellent and the ink lasts forever
    • The ink also doesn't bleed through the paper
    • They do not smudge, the ink is reasonably permanent, and they are remarkably precise--and good for making very detailed diagrams or filling tiny spots on a form in very small print
    • Thin yet reliable ink flow.
    • And as an added bonus, I had 2 ink refills that did not work very well (the roller part didn't seem to want to work) and returned them directly to Pilot
    • I especially like it because I am left-handed, and tend to smear the ink when I write.
    • These pens are perfect nice dark purple ink.
    • This has been a great pen, it's comfortable to hold, writes very smoothly and has consistent ink
    • Good quality ink.
    • -Ink tanks are widely available at a relatively inexpensive price-Lasts a long time, comparable to your crummy blue ink pens, but with an executive ink feelCON's:-Refills are almost as expensive as buying a new set of pens.-One cartridge (original in black) had quality issues forcing me to buy additional cartridges
    • They're the best of its kind for all your literary needs unlike other brands of extra fine ink pens
    • the only thing is they do not put enough ink in them
    • The ink has never clogged or gotten gummy at the point.
    • The ink dries quickly enough for me to write as fast as I need to be, and I really like how dark the ink is
    • I bought these for my Pilot Precise V5 Liquid Ink Pens that I previously purchased
    • Don't trust the Pilot G-2 0.5 pens, because the ink runs out very quickly and its scratchy on the paper
    • The ink doesn't smear (I'm a lefty).
    • However after carrying one around for 6 months I can tell you that those qualities don’t go away, but it will start to bleed ink
    • Smooth writing and smooth gel ink
    • This extra-fine point is ideal for writing in small areas, such as margins or between lines of print, and the ink is dark enough that the notes are very legible, and equally legible on scans.
    • They write very smoothly and does have a dark black ink color
    • That said, the ink is very vibrant and evident even with such a tight line
    • Writes smoothly and does not have places where the pen leaks out extra ink and leaves unwanted ink on the paper.
    • Sharp tip for precision, doesnt leave excessive ink on the page, feels good to hold, good weight, etc
    • The ink is nice and vibrant
    • Thinner ink in comparison to the V7, which I prefer because the angle at which I write can result in smudging.
    • Easy on the wrist and smooth ink flow.
    • I don't like how sometimes they leak ink that gets all over my hand
    • The ink well seems to hold a decent about of ink, and makes the pen last
    • The ink doesn't smear.
    • The rubber grips and comfortable for long writing sessions and the ink seems to dry pretty quick, although sometimes not quick enough but that might be just me
    • Sometimes the ink has leaked in my
    • The ink is perfect.
    • But the Pilot Precise does not write as well overall as the Ink Joy
    • Although the ink is good I prefer the Pigma ink in Micron pens
    • Thin yet reliable ink flow.
    • Writes smoothly and doesn't "dump" too much ink on the page
    • Good quality, vivid ink color.
    • Ink doesn't bleed and it dries instantly
    • These pens are perfect nice dark purple ink.
    • The only downside was that the ink would stop working all of a sudden for a brief second
    • I especially like the fact that the ink in these pens doesn't seem to smudge easily, a problem I had with some other rolling ball pens
    • These pens have good flowing ink and make a nice sharp line.
    • They do have a clear resavor, and you can see the ink dropping like a rock!!
    • Quality is superb--non-skipping, long lasting, comfortable in hand, beautiful color ink.
    • The ink wells are much cheaper.
    • I am typing this with ink stained hands.
    • It has a comfortable, soft rubberized grip (like a lot of pens do nowadays -- a great feature).I don't think you can do much better than this: a gliding ink that still is fine and allows for tinier printing and detailed writing, a smooth-flowing ink that never skips or clumps, and a comfortable feel to it
    • I'm left handed, so I need something that drys quickly, or my hand will smudge the ink as I write
    • All in all, these pens have the consistent ink pattern of a gel pen, the dry time of a ball point pen, and the tip is the size of a pencil
    • But it leaked ink on a nice dress shirt, ruining it.
    • They have a fine line with good ink flow
    • Incredibly comfortable to write with even over long periods of time and unlike the G2s, you can write without any backing - even writing on a single sheet of paper the nip won't have issues feeding ink to the page.
    • it leaves a sharp crisp line, although if not used for a while the first touch of pen to paper will leave a smudge/larger ink blot
    • So now it is all PROs - fine point, smooth ink, no cap hassle.
    • I use them for ink art.. great accuracy / beautiful continuous ink flow with movement...also, great for calligraphic writing.
    • My favorite ink pen
    • I really like the ink, the grip, and the fact that it's an inexpensive refillable, but the clip sucks.
    • Nice fine point and blue ink, which I prefer.
    • Dark ink, thin line.
    • The tip can wear out and leak ink all over.
    • Feels great and ink looks great, but it smudges really easy like a gel pen.
    • It has a strong, thin point and the ink flows well
    • With the refillable version, I can put these into most G2 compatible pen bodies, and get great ink with a solid pen!
    • Most vivid and fluid ink out of any other pen I've tried, and the rolling ball has the best writing texture ever
    • I can not emphasize that the ink is clear and doesn't leave any improper irritation when writing
    • The write amazing well, fine tip and smooth ink
    • they have like 1/2 the ink or something
    • Upon taking the plastic safety cover off one of the pens prior to the exam it began to leak ink when used.
    • Writes well without leaking or smearing ink
    • I gave up on buying more expensive pens years ago as the ink always dried up and if I lost it I'd cry for the hundred or so bucks down the drain
    • While the ink seems to love coming out on my clothing and fingers, it does not seem quite so eager to flow onto paper.
    • Perfect weight and the ink doesn't bleed
    • Very fine point, the ink is gel like, 4 stars because the ink bleeds through paper and smudges.
    • The lines produced by the silky smooth ink in the V5 cartridge are slightly thinner and perhaps more flat/matte than those laid by the gel ink in the venerable G2.
    • The ink is intense and opaque without a lot of heavy bleed-through on most papers (not so great on cheap recycled notebook paper, sadly), and the line is crisp and clear
    • As a lefty, I have to worry about smearing ink.
    • The ink is dark but doesn't bleed through notebooks
    • The ink is dark but doesn't bleed through notebooks
    • They are fun to use but I wish the ink was a bit more restricting such that the line width was narrower.
    • Very fine point, the ink is gel like, 4 stars because the ink bleeds through paper and smudges.
    • No sudden blotches of ink, however, the ink will bleed through the paper quickly if you don't keep the pen moving
    • Comfortable to use and the ink looks very nice on paper
    • Thinner ink in comparison to the V7, which I prefer because the angle at which I write can result in smudging.
    • They write so smoothly and even though it's a thin line, the ink is very rich
    • Smooth and nice ink
    • The real showstopper for me, though, is the writing experience: strong without being either bold or microscopic, very consistent ink spread from start to finish, perfect feel in the hand, lasts a long time, and so on
    • They write beautifully: the ink is rich and is applied evenly, and they're quite comfortable to hold
    • Decent ink supply
    • They leaked blue and green ink all over my desk and hands
    • I've always preferred the ink that comes from a rolling ball pen versus the standard ball point pen: it can be used for casual writing, and yet has a more formal look.
    • The click is satisfying, and helps protect the ink from drying out
    • You can visibly see from prior page full of words that the ink is fainter and line is thinner and keeps getting more so as you keep going
    • I really like the ink, the grip, and the fact that it's an inexpensive refillable, but the clip sucks.
