This pen is smooth writing and 'glides' over the paper.

To me, it feels like an expensive writing instrument -- slim, elegant and with a beautifully smooth flow.

The Pilot Precise V5 RT pen is a very smooth writing pen

V5 retractable is an excellent pen, smooth writing, comfortable, and reliable.

Excellent Pens - they are very easy to use - write great and refills are available plus the price is GREAT compared to the Office Chain stores.

Additionally, I'll point out that while the refills are more expensive than buying a new pen, it's more environmentally sound to just chuck the ink tank and stick a new one into your pen, rather than shucking the whole pen itself

The only problem I have with this pen is that either people "borrow it" and never return it or I "lose" it.

I thought I had, until the first V5 pen I used began leaking and dripping ink from the tip during a workshop, and the second one leaked in my pocket, ruining my dress shirt.

I have ruined three (3) shirts which says a lot for the ink itself but the pen is a total failure in the regard of leaking

I had two that started to leak, and did ruin one shirt from a large ink stain

The only downside is that they have removable caps, and after putting an uncapped pen in the pocket of a very expensive shirt I have been on a quest to find a great retractable pen

If you don't want to ruin a shirt, you should probably look into a capped pen, not a retractable one
