Such a smooth writing instrument with an extra fine point!!

With a regular ball point pen, my writing looks sloppy but with these, they are smooth enough and precise enough that they are able to move with my movement without getting all over the place

For years my pen of choice was the Pilot Precise V5; so when the V5 RT was released, I had to check them out

I pressed a Jetstream 0.38 mm ballpoint into my hand to compare, and the V5, despite a thicker point, was definitely worse.

It's a scratchy line, not smooth like the V5 traditional

Do be aware that the put down a lot of ink very quickly, so fine lines are difficult.

These pens write smoothly, are comfortable to hold and produce a nice fine line.

These pens leave a nice thin, dark line, and the retractable feature means you won't need a cap to keep them from leaving accidental marks.

However, make sure you don't drop it while the tip is out, the tip is a little fragile.

It writes so smoothly and has a fine tip that doesnt bleed.

Just don't try to write on a cardboard box or you will ruin the fragile tip

although the tip of the pen is skinny so if you put a lot of pressure into your pen when you write these aren't the pens for you.

May even have improved my penmanship just a bit!

Their ink takes a bit to dry, and it can bleed onto the previous page if you close the book before the ink is dry.

Just let them warm up a bit before you use them.

If you don't want to ruin a shirt, you should probably look into a capped pen, not a retractable one

I had two that started to leak, and did ruin one shirt from a large ink stain

I have ruined three (3) shirts which says a lot for the ink itself but the pen is a total failure in the regard of leaking

I thought I had, until the first V5 pen I used began leaking and dripping ink from the tip during a workshop, and the second one leaked in my pocket, ruining my dress shirt.
