I have only been using the first one out of the box for about two weeks, and although still full, the point has become very scratchy and the ink has stopped flowing
Love these pens the extra sharp point is perfect, it's not too sharp, the other points in this pen are too
It's still not as fine a point as I would like though causing the ink to bleed a bit through normal/thin paper
I thought I would it a nice substitute for the Fine Point Sharpie, which can bleed too much into the backside of the paper, but the fidelity of the line just isn't there

I have always loved these Pilot pens because the ink flows very smoothly and they always seem to last me longer than other pens; however, this time I seem to have gotten a bad batch.
I use these for art (pen drawings), as well as for everyday writing, as I love the color
I highly recommend these for people who love drawing or sketching as well as anyone who loves a smooth, skip-free writing experience!
We have found them to be very durable, so I suspect those people simply had a bad batch or were overly rough on them
The ink dries quickly so us lefties don't get into too much of a smear issue.
Only issue is that they explode when used on planes, so be wary of that.
My only issue is that the tips bend if you apply to much pressure, also if you are fiddling with the pen and the cap is off - the pen will leak on you.

You can write elegantly with them (I think my handwriting improves quite a bit when I am using these pens) and you can draw with them
but it does bleed just a bit when the ballpoint is facing down and pressing directly on the paper for too long
The pens can put out a good bit of ink when writing so smudges and bleed through (on the opposite side of the page) do happen.
