The Pilot V5 solved all these issues for me, which is why I bought this dozen box

The Pilot Precise V5 on the other hand, feels amazing

It's nice to write with a precise V5 and not have to constantly replace the cap.

I bought a 4-pack of retractable V5 and compared them side by side with their non-retractable cousins

For years my pen of choice was the Pilot Precise V5; so when the V5 RT was released, I had to check them out

And looking online, the refills are each about the same price as an entirely new V5 pen, which pretty well defeats the purpose of it being reusable

But, I changed to this Pilot Precise V5 RT after I used it when my co-worker recommended

It's also an added bonus that the retractable V5 is refillable

The v5 are fabulous for people who write small and precise

I would definitely recommend these pens if you already have experience with the Precise V5 or are looking for the best rollerball pen.

The Pilot V5 retractable pen is my favorite pen of all time

so I don't have to give them my beloved V5

(but keep the cool red-v5 logo on it!)

The pilot precise V5 rollerball (with pen cap instead of clickable) tend to lead into the cap whenever I take them on airplanes - presumable because of the pressure.

V5 retractable is an excellent pen, smooth writing, comfortable, and reliable.

I've used the older Pilot V5 for years, love how smooth they write and the colors

I like it better than felt tip pens for drawing tangles, I much prefer the V5 to the V7 because the V5 is much finer

I wish that they would come up with the lighter blue that are available in the non-retractable V5's.

Even the v7 style is good to use, but I definitely prefer the v5 for most of my writing needs

When I purchased the Pilot Precise V5

I pressed a Jetstream 0.38 mm ballpoint into my hand to compare, and the V5, despite a thicker point, was definitely worse.

I have used the Precise V5 exclusively for about a couple of years because I love how smooth and reliable they are

The Precise V5 pens are the worlds best, plus the ink from them doesn't run

you want smoothness, don't care about the clip, and like to see how much ink is left, the stick V5 is a better choice

I've have $1 pens to $300 pens, for some reason I end up going back to either the classic precise v5 or the precise v5 RT

Sadly most retailers are starting to pull them from their shelves as they are being replaced by the Acroball series, which while being respectable pens are not as smooth or reliable as the precise V5's.

The classic V5 is better.
