the CarPlay works similar to uconnect

I own a iPhone 6 Plus and the CarPlay is kind of buggy, but other than that, no problems

The microphone works well, and I love the apple carplay

I use CarPlay almost exclusively and wonder if I would have been happier with the physical controls on the Alpine

The bluetooth/CarPlay mic sounds really, really good

Unfortunately, wireless CarPlay is not available and will require special hardware and hasn't been manufactured

Having spent a few days with it now, I have figured out it's basic functions and got Carplay to work seamlessly - all without referencing the manual

-Apple maps on the Carplay sucks, no where near as accurate or efficient as Google Maps-Carplay is glitchy, if you are listening the FM radio then connect the lightning cable to the unit, it will go silent as it has gone into Carplay mode, you will have to choose FM radio again to get the music back on

I've had a couple issues with audio not playing, and CarPlay glitching out when I start my car with my phone already plugged in

I can't really recommend a better stereo for CarPlay which is this unit's main selling point, but keep an eye on JVC, Alpine and Kenwood because they are all trying to get into the affordable CarPlay game
