Pioneer has put great work into the engineering and quality

EXCELLENT job Pioneer

The only drawback is they don't light up, like their bigger, more expensive Pioneer brothers, but I haven't found it to be a real problem yet

We use the Pioneer DDJ-SR for our main units as well as the Numark NS7's.

Pioneer may be having quality control problems

and so I would heartily recommend the Pioneer DDJ-SB2 to get started with.
