Most of these other issues I could live with, but the fading between songs is a deal killer

1/16/2009 - a new firmware for this unit v1.18 resolved the fade-in/fade-out annoyance.

A few gripes about this unit as some others have mentioned is that although it allows you to record individual songs or programs, it has an annoying fade in/out 'feature' that you can't turn off.

First of all, in one of the negative reviews the reviewer said they hated the fade-in and -out between songs in the recorded XM.

You can add favorite channels, but accessing them is not nearly as easy as with the Inno

The price is high but then it works as it is supposed to.

It is very small and light, acquires an excellent signal, has reasonable battery life (I have been getting the advertised 4-5 hours per charge), and many interesting features (which I haven't fully exploited as yet).
