Pioneer HDJ-2000 Reference Professional Dj Headphones (OLD MODEL)

    • I like the style and comfort of the cans but the bass is not as loud as my sony 700's
    • I'd rather tone it down a bit than have to boost the bass (which is a necessity for most in this price range) and add distortion
    • They are not THAT heavy, but honestly i rather to use this type of headphones cause they are much robust than others, especially when the most important thing is the sound quality, and pioneer HDJ2000 don't let you down with its perfect bass and treble allowing you to enjoy your favorite music.
    • Some people may find that they don't provide enough bass and might need to up with EQ
    • Where my Denons come through with good, clean bass response, these Pioneers do too
    • Very smooth not too much bass and just enough high end
    • Not a strong bass but very nice balance through out all songs of all types.
    • Sound isolation seems good, they do not bleed a lot of sound out, and the bass is awesome
    • my new HDJ-2000 makes more beautiful sound (clear high and soft deep bass) than starting point
    • Pros:Great audio quality, crisp sound, very sturdy and sleek construction, all aluminum, no cheap plastic, fantastic noise reduction padding, headphone hinges click into place magnetically so you don't have to worry about fussing with them liveCons:weak bass, mono/stereo switch seems useless as it kills your dynamics and "fullness" of sound
    • so if I turn it up just a little to loud my ears begin to hurt a
    • My tinnitus is not bothering me nearly as much as with the 700's
