Pioneer PD-F1009 301-Disc CD-File Changer (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • It has an amazing CD capacity, more than I'll ever need, and it is extremely enjoyable
    • Now all my CD'S are protected and I can listen to my music for hours
    • This player supports CD Text and that was an important factor in my decision to buy
    • However, this amazing 300 (+1) CD changer is the way to go with a home stereo system.
    • I actually thought it was going to break a cd
    • After a couple of hours cataloging and inserting all my cds I was looking forward to sitting and listening and learning what my player can do and after only the second cd change the machine jammed, the carousel would not turn, so I was forced to unscrew the case to remove the jammed cd.
    • With so many CDs in the changer, an on-screen display of the CD titles without manually entering them seemed like a good feature.
    • I play CDs a lot more now that I can lie on my sofa, push a button or two, and listen to any disc in my entire collection
    • But those of us with extensive CD collections (like those of us with vinyl collections) still appreciate the jukebox feature of this player.
    • While it works well playing store-bought CD's, it has an issue now with some CD's that I created.
    • Love my replacement for a Sony 400 cd changer that broke only a few years after purchase
    • Great cd player
    • The to me inconceivable necessity to delete CD text for a slot whose CD Text supporting disc has been removed from the player
    • This CD File's description stated that it was CD text compatible and a 'file' type carasoule
    • More and more CDs support that now, and I've always burned CDRs using that feature, inputting the data (including track titles) when the original disc doesn't include it
    • We needed to replace an old Fisher 150 CD player that worked great for over 10 years but recently started to jam.
    • (it would be nice if iTunes supported CDText) and just burning the CDs from iTunes
    • More and more CDs support that now, and I've always burned CDRs using that feature, inputting the data (including track titles) when the original disc doesn't include it
