Pioneer PD-F1009 301-Disc CD-File Changer (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

    • Unlike a previous reviewer, I think the remote is one of the best features.
    • We really enjoyed those features.
    • That is a great feature
    • The big advantage with the player is the Random feature
    • They might not seem like a big deal, but having used those features for 10 years I would really miss them.1
    • One of the most important features in my application was loading time
    • I did like the feature on the Sony that would identify the artist and CD title as the CD played.
    • But those of us with extensive CD collections (like those of us with vinyl collections) still appreciate the jukebox feature of this player.
    • but that's better than not enough features
    • I've looked at a lot of changers and none of them have as many well-implemented features for such a great price
    • The only lacking features that come to mind are:1
    • With so many CDs in the changer, an on-screen display of the CD titles without manually entering them seemed like a good feature.
    • I really like the random feature
    • I chose it over a Sony 300 disc player at the time, the deciding factor being that the Pioneer supports the time remaining feature on the playing track, when selected, whereas the Sony player did not support the feature
