Has a loud hum no matter where it is plugged in and also hums with/without being hooked up to audio source

Has developed an annoying hum.

Unfortunately, mine makes a noticeably loud hum even when it's switched off

The only fix was putting it on a switched extension, shutting the power off to itSo far a viable solution to an annoying and perceivable HUM

Comparing with another subwoofer I have, the Sony SACS9 is dead quiet, zero hum
