Planet Waves O-Port Sound Enhancement for Acoustic Guitar, Large, Black

    • This is an odd product with a really strong theoretical concept
    • I suspect that this product would be even more effective on less expensive guitars
    • This is an amazing product
    • I typically don't leave reviews, but this is a great product
    • Great product
    • So nice when a product meets and even exceeds expectations
    • The product is flexible enough that I was able to just fold it in half and slide it under the strings and into the body
    • Overall, I really like the product
    • But this product was a waste to me.
    • I would most definitely recommend this product!
    • This is an amazing product
    • Innovative little product, and certainly made some difference in sound and resonance
    • The product is inexpensive enough to give it a try on speculation
    • If product wasn't damaged at the time of arrival I would've tried to get this in but didn't want to damage my guitar or handle a damaged product.
    • I highly recommend this product to any serious guitar player.
    • Sorry, usually Planet Waves makes great products.
    • I can acknowledge that Planet Waves makes excellent products, but in this opportunity they failed
    • Sorry, usually Planet Waves makes great products.
    • I really wanted to like this product.
    • I wanted to try this in my natural Martin with dual P/U, but the electronics extended all the way to the rim, which made putting in the O-port impossible without cutting it.
    • Very important to ACCURATELY measure your sound hole diameter for the right O-Port (small or large) and "be
    • I also found that there seemed to be less vibration where the back of the guitar would make contact with me (though that seems to be changing the more I play the guitar after installing the port). Is the O-Port worth buying
    • The O Port cracked and broke with my first attempt at installation.
    • The O-Port enhanced fingerstyle play, but it also added clarity to gently-rolled chords
    • The O-port works
    • I got it in just fine, but then had to use a thin tool (smooth end of nail clipper lever) to coax the part of the o-port that lacks a rim out of the guitar to fit along the inner edge of the top of the sound hole.
    • I've read from other reviewers that the O-Port helps to suppress feedback, which would be a point in its favour
    • The O-Port fits snugly - but not overly tight - which is good when the time comes to remove it, as well as reassuring it's probably not influencing top plate stresses and vibrations
