The o-port doesn't enhance volume much and I prefer a quieter guitar for singing unplugged.
-
First, when strumming I hear better projection and greater volume
-
As far as volume, it's hard to detect much of an improvement
-
For example, my Ramirez 130 Anos already had great volume and a lyrical voice, but with the O-Port, it now has a booming voice with more presence than you could ever expect from a classical guitar
-
I've installed one in my Dean EAB in an attempt to improve its volume, and I'm not sure that I'll retain it
-
sounds good on my taylor 710 acoustic its worth the money brings up volume on my guitar richer an deeper sound
-
Excellent for a fingerpicker and classical guitarist (like me) wishing for a natural acoustic loud volume to the likes of a Marshall stack at 11 without plugging in.

It can not compete with the real Martin but for the money I paid it was a great buy and it is known as a "sound canon" for it's great natural volume
-
Made a noticeable difference in tonal balance as well as volume (
-
This does boost the sound volume a bit, and the music quality improves noticeably
-
Didn't expect much from this piece of plastic, but WOW!, it did increase the volume and brightness and clarity
-
The O-port does enhance resonance, volume and slightly greater projection
-
I wanted to try this in my natural Martin with dual P/U, but the electronics extended all the way to the rim, which made putting in the O-port impossible without cutting it.
-
Very important to ACCURATELY measure your sound hole diameter for the right O-Port (small or large) and "be
-
I also found that there seemed to be less vibration where the back of the guitar would make contact with me (though that seems to be changing the more I play the guitar after installing the port). Is the O-Port worth buying
-
The O Port cracked and broke with my first attempt at installation.
-
The O-Port enhanced fingerstyle play, but it also added clarity to gently-rolled chords
-
The O-port works
-
I got it in just fine, but then had to use a thin tool (smooth end of nail clipper lever) to coax the part of the o-port that lacks a rim out of the guitar to fit along the inner edge of the top of the sound hole.
-
I've read from other reviewers that the O-Port helps to suppress feedback, which would be a point in its favour
-
The O-Port fits snugly - but not overly tight - which is good when the time comes to remove it, as well as reassuring it's probably not influencing top plate stresses and vibrations
