I called the company and they tell me this unit that I paid nearly $200 for does not have a replaceable battery

Some times it has not even used enough battery to need a charge at the end of the day

The device seems to have excellent battery life I charge it on my breaks and during my lunch and never seem to have a problem with the battery

He did some trouble shooting and ultimately determined that my headset which does not have a replaceable battery was faulty and not holding the appropriate charge.

The battery finally died on the headset and it was put to rest with all suitable reverence.

I haven't tested the battery or range too much yet, but so far so good.

For what a new headset costs you might as well by a different model with a replaceable battery.

Fine for about 18 months then the battery died and is not easily replaceable (unless you are good with a soldering iron).

The battery dies after 4-5 hrs

Understood my needs and without me even asking tells me that he has another model (with replaceable) battery that he thinks would work better for my situation and would go ahead and send it out to me right away

With that said, it still works as it should and allows me to roam freely around the office not being glued to the desk.

Very dumbfounded as to why they would not make the battery replaceable like their other devices.
