The sound is crystal clear, fit is perfect (For me at least), noise cancelling is excellent and personally I will never own another headset but a Plantroncis
I really like this headset as it offers binaural sound and is lightweight and the microphone is noise cancelling.
Great quality sound, people can hear me fine, as I can hear them, and ear pads soft on the ears.
I like sound in both ears and no pinching or squeezing.
Nice headset, clear sound and helps drown out background noise
These work as they are supposed to in my situation, no amplifier needed
Don't forget to order the proper Plantronics adapter, in my case I needed "Replacement Quick Disconnect Coil Cable For M-12
Thank you Plantronics for wonderful shipping and quality products.
I called Plantronics and asked for their recommendation and they recommended either this model or the single earpiece
Let's begin by noting which models are monaural vs. binaural:SupraPlus HW251N - Monaural (1 earmuff), microphone noise reducingSupraPlus HW261N - Binaural (2 earmuff), microphone noise reducingEncorePro HW291N - Monaural (1 earmuff), microphone noise reducingEncorePro HW301N - Binaural (2 earmuff), microphone noise reducingThe W in the model names stands for WIDEBAND AUDIO for which Plantronics claims improvement in sound clarity, etc
My company has a lot of these and they work well, but the latest set I ordered don't work well with my Polycom IP550 phones, and even with the right cord (that's important too.)
This was supposed to be a special purchase, an upgrade from my work set, but other than the fact the cord is not twisted it actually seems to be less comfortable and the sound quality is not as good as the old set which was the same brand ( just the older version).
The set is comfortable however the foam ear pads become a little warm after wearing the headset for a while.
I tried two different adapter cords (at an extra cost of $33), tried working with Plantronics (they sent me a new set in case mine was defective) and the problem wasn't resolved
The binaural set is much better than then the Jabra one piece I have been using in the past
The M22 also has a LOUD NOISE PROTECTOR that lowers volume in case of very loud noise
I tested the Plantronics HW261N Binaural Headset ($250) along side Voistek A2H20J35 Wired Cell Phone Headset (w/ Adjustable Headband Boom Noise Cancelling Microphone for Apple iPhone Samsung Galaxy Android Smartphones
The noise canceling mic works wonderfully, and ought to be verboten on all call center headsets

After playing with it I discovered there is a loose wire some where in the headset.
support).- Wired is always better sound quality than wireless all else being the same, however as time marches forward folks have a tougher time telling the qualitative difference between top quality wired and wireless
Any suggestions, please? If anyone knows of a good wired binaural headset, in over the head design, which would work well out doors, in mild wind, please write in the comments.
I prefer wired

I can type about 20 times faster than I can write, so I needed my hands free and was tired of having a stiff neck from pinching the handset between my shoulder and ear.
I now do my tasks while talking on the phone with full freedom of movement and no more neck kinks/cramps or damaging my phone
I used to crank my neck while talking on the phone or else hold with either hand, which would lead to dropping the phone in water or on floor, neck kinks and/or cramps, and arms falling asleep
