    PlayStation 4 Pro 1TB Console

    • So sony decided to do the sensible thing: allow you to upgrade the internal hard drive
    • MB Cache 2.5-Inch Hard Drive (ST2000LX001) , and it's WAY BETTER than the original PS4 on nearly all fronts
    • Upgrading to 2tb hard drive seems easier then the PS4 as you have a back panel that it's installed in instead of having to slide one of the panels off the PS4 which was a little tricky.
    • I'm not sure about it being any faster, I play my games off of an external hard drive.
    • Its good Sony still allows to upgrade the hard drive without voiding the warranty, though the design on the regular PS4 to me was simpler to remove the hard drive
    • My biggest beef with this thing is the hard drive
    • It has a huge hard drive, allowing me to download lots of games
    • You get 100% larger hard drive over the slim
    • The large hard drive is nice but hard drives can easily be swapped on the non pro version.
    • I had before.1 TB hard drive standard
    • Cons and Oks:__________- 1 TB hard drive is not nearly enough of space as the Pro games will require even more storage for you to play
    • I also replaced the stock hard drive with a
    • It runs much quieter than a standard PS$, and the 1TB hard drive is nice to hold more games
    • Changing out the internal hard drive has never been easier
    • Other than that it's been great, awesome picture, more stable frame rates, and it is nice that it comes with a 1tb hard drive.
    • They DO sell 4TB laptop hard drives but unfortunately they are 15mm
    • Just like the PS4 though, you can upgrade the internal drive
    • The best part is that 2 weeks later, Sony released a firmware update that allowed the use of external hard drives, and makes better use of the Pro's superior hardware in older games.
    • I have been asked about the hard drive and here is my answer: its a 1TB hard drive that is SATA III running at 5200 Rpm
    • The PS4 Pro booted up fine the first day but the next day It wouldn't even recognize the hard drive
    • CPU is 1/3 faster than the Slim1TB hard drive has twice the space of the Slim
    • Ps4pro now has sata3 for hard drives
    • With xbox one at least you can add external drives, but here no dice
    • I recommend a hard drive upgrade
    • It adds an extra 1GB of dedicated memory for streaming, an extra USB port, support for optical sound bars, and you can replace the hard drive with an SSD drivefor ridiculously fast loading times
    • Right out of the box I upgraded the factory hard drive to a 2 TB SSD.
    • But it's really noisy when the hard drive spins
    • It isn't a powerhouse like any high end PC out there, but then again, if you like the fact that on a system you don't have to upgrade parts and such besides maybe the hard drive, then this is well worth it
    • It runs much quieter than a standard PS$, and the 1TB hard drive is nice to hold more games
    • Only positive is you can change out your hard drive.
    • If you truly want to notice a difference put a solid state drive in your PS4 and then you will see true performance boost
    • For $400 this is a much more powerful console than the regular PS4 and it doubles the hard drive space as well.
    • A few things to note is that the PS4 Slim out right now has a 500GB hard drive, while the PS4 Pro has a 1TB hard drive, but both systems have a setting to turn on High Dynamic Range(HDR), which greatly increases peak brightness and contrast levels, so you can see details and differences in details between elements of varying hues and brightness
    • Save your games on an external hard drive, sell your PS4 and get the Pro
    • I put a corsair mx300 solid state drive in it which also has sata3 support and it boots and loads much better now, especially when playing online games where I have to load levels
    • The large hard drive is nice but hard drives can easily be swapped on the non pro version.
    • Higher TV resolution output, increased Hard Drive capacity 1TB, same PS4 gameplay and overall experience at similar prices than the original PS4
    • Love Sony products the pro is so much faster the old gen plus bigger hard drive awesome
    • The XBOX One allows me to connect a 4T or larger external USB3 hard drive and install games to it
    • To check if you are indeed displaying 4K resolution, go to the Video Output Information option.***Also, if you would like to find out how to replace your PS4 Pro hard drive, you can view my YouTube video: youtu.be/876Yb1cMf4g***Original Review

    • It is 100 times quieter than og ps4• 3 usb ports (rear port is great for connecting external hard drive)• physical power and eject buttons (my old ps4 would eject disks because of the
    • If your hard-lined and have an external hard drive I wouldn't have done it
    • My PS4 Pro came unable to even communicate with its hard drive.
    • These modern consoles now require you to install them into the system hard drive meaning that in no time even 1tb of space will be long gone
    • The problem is that since the slot cannot accept laptop hard drives thicker than 9mm you're only option is a 2TB hard drive
    • Comparing this to the base price of the xbox one s with the same hard drive size
    • it turned on their be an hard drive inside it...
    • The PS4 Pro offers much more than 4K support, and if you upgrade the hard drive for another $100, you have a console that very nearly rivals the Xbox One X.
    • I was fed up and got rid of it tired of these Chinese people putting crappy drives in
    • Cons: 1) 1 TB hard drive is not nearly enough of space as the Pro games will require even more storage for you to play
