While the Vita with its gorgeous oled screen it makes portable gaming feel like full console gaming

There will be people that will wait for a $149/$199 price point, and that's fine, but you might be missing out on a great handheld gaming experience that is beautiful to look at and play with.

I love gaming on my man cave, but it is nice to do some hardcore gamig while being out of the cave once in a while.

Even though it has tablet-wannabe ambitions at times, in the end the Vita is a solid handheld gaming system for people who CARE about and LOVE games - plain and simple.

It is, however, my favorite handheld gaming device.

In overall, I declare this the best mobile gaming device on the market as of September 2012.

If you enjoy console gaming and are looking to take that with you during your day, then the Vita is a must.

What it does is delivers a GREAT gaming experience that comes close to that of the home consoles.

Personally, I think it is worth carrying the Vita for that portable gaming experience

plus, i think the minimal finger movement helped with keeping my hands from fatiguing.- Near was a feature i thought i would not use at all, but i caught myself going to it several times to check in on the 5 other people within the 10 mile radius of me.- playstation store on vita is great, love the use of the touch screen navigation, made everything seem quicker and easier.i could go on and on about this, but bottom line, i do give a little credit to the smartphone vs portable gaming debate, i would not buy this for someone like my mom who is enthralled with angry birds.

Unlike the original psp this has 2 joysticks which makes gaming on the go so much better

The Vita is the first portable game system that actually has the firepower to change the portable gaming market.

I will give you the freedom of having good quality gaming without the need of a TV and in any location.

I have owned literally every single portable gaming system I can think of...from the original game boy to the Atari Lynx and now the Vita.

It really is the perfect gaming console on the go.

I loved my original PSP just because i enjoy portable gaming on handheld consoles

As the title states above, this is one of the many reasons I love the PlayStation Vita; web browsing!This powerhouse of a device we call a portable gaming device is much more than that

This is coming from a college student who enjoys portable gaming and owns no home consoles

I would definitely recommend this to someone with a little extra cash who wants a superb gaming device.

It has the same accelerometer, but also a gyro, compass, and GPS as well as 3G connectivity

Maybe I'm just used to the iPad's screen but the Vita feels outdated, like a year and a half too late (3G is basically useless, especially with AT&T - so why no 4G?).Add on to that, the d control buttons that you can't press in like on the PS3, the controls just feel a bit quirky.

Luckily I live a mile away from a Best Buy, and was able to get the cheaper, better 3G Launch Bundle from them.

So, more storage, free 3G, and $60 lower price, but no chincy case, and no game that's not much more than a tech demo?

Note: even though this is a 3G/WI-Fi system, you still need to create a data plan with AT&T to use the 3G feature (I wonder if you can get a different SIM card or maybe use an existing one with another company)
