    PlayStation VR

    • My Rift is sitting collecting dust due to there being no killer app (or even good games), but everyone at my house is fighting over playing with the PSVR
    • This could also be helped by the upcoming PS4Pro, which should add more power to PSVR and make the games cleaner and sharper
    • The poor games quality
    • - You don't need to be a gamer at all to enjoy the benefits
    • The games are horrible the quality of the vr is garbage
    • Hey, the scary game is scary enough, and the VR really brings the game to life.
    • My doesn't play games and she loved it
    • I bought several vr games, and find that free games are, as one would expect, much more emersive than regular games
    • Make sure you start with easy games
    • However, this has not been an issue at all during my play through of many demos and games thanks to the length of the cables.
    • Like other PSVR owners, gamers should definitely ease into the amount of time played and avoid fast-moving games initially to develop/acclimate to this new style of gaming
    • I've been an avid and loyal gamer for over 30 years
    • Youtube video with 360-degree viewing is brilliant, absolute game changer
    • The Until Dawn game truly shows how scary horror games can be in VR!
    • And there are plenty of great games
    • A fun, addicting game.
    • : intense)-resident evil (very creepy)-VR drive club (for driver enthusiasts who love the speed and car swaying; very good game)All these games are cheap
    • Right now the only decent game is Batman: Arkham VR
    • My son only wished there were more games available for it that he would enjoy.
    • The games themselves look pretty realistic yet somewhat pixelated
    • For people who are jumping on the VR bandwagon for the first time, they need to understand that they are probably going to have to avoid lot of fast moving action game such as DriveClub or Eve Valkyrie game and of course you will be fine playing those games after several days of use of psvr headset.
    • The games are good but the future is very bright.
    • Some of my favorite games right now are Until Dawn
    • Eve, Battlzone, Batman, and Rigs are all amazing games
    • Hardware sucks without many good high quality AAA games to support it for that $400 price
    • The games out for this are kind of crap at the moment
    • With that said my neck was beginning to hurt after about 3.5 hours of play in intense games but nothing I would say was a deal breaker by any means; just you have to take some breaks
    • And that's considering most of the games available are only glorified 'demos' that only amount to 3-5 hours worth of real gameplay
    • Next, try Rush of Blood and Here they lie, all good release games.
    • Great game and very comfortable headset.
    • Not enough games, but you can use the PS4/Pro and VR with any game
    • I found that when playing Arkham VR, not only would the headset lose its place, I'd have to kill the game and restart just to get back on track
    • and I got sick playing some games
    • If you love video games and was to take it all to the next level, this is money worth spent.
    • There are also quite a few good games at launch
    • You're in a happy little gamer
    • Has enough gimmick games already, like Until Dawn...
    • Resident Evil and Rush of Blood are two amazing games for VR, but thats truly it
    • I use a launch PS4 and I have no issues playing games
    • Every game I've tried so far has been great, and I've still got many more to try from the demo disc and from VR Worlds.
    • When you also take into account the fact that this is made by one of the major console companies, you know you can expect great games
    • The games are so much better with the camera and VR headset properly positioned when calibrated as well as standing gives a much better experience as well
    • I hope Sony starts supporting the PSVR by offering free games on PSPLUS, that would be very welcome!
    • If they release a Dead Space game in VR I may explode from happiness
    • Hey, the scary game is scary enough, and the VR really brings the game to life.
    • Tried a lot of the free games, most of the "visit and look around this awesome country/camera/vacation" place are just junk
    • Such an immersive and new way to play games like Batman, for instance
    • now i personally really enjoy this game i like the characters and the
    • Recommended games: RIGs, Driveclub VR, Batman, Rez Infinite
    • The graphics aren't fantastic and the games are limited
    • It has decent games and decent implementation.
    • The reason why I say check your expectations is that your not going to get the big time AAA experiences or games like witches 3 or uncharted for VR
    • Need some great games to suceed at this point, in my opinion
    • My main issue after the 'Wow' effect is that most games specially those needing depth perception have pixelising issue
    • Resident Evil and Rush of Blood are two amazing games for VR, but thats truly it
    • All the cheap quality games it has now feel like demos, looking sims, phone games, mini games, or Kinect shovelware
    • Sure beats just getting nicer looking games every year that are ultimately still the same experiences (not that I dislike nicer graphics or anything)
    • as well this will work as a monitor for any HDMI output devices like PC, Xbox One, etc (the wiring is intense but easy if you can set up PSVR itself). If you can afford this and are patient enough for the good games to come, this is a must buy for gamers and those who want a new experience.
    • Other games like the rec center are perfect!
    • personally I love the fact that it comes with a demo disc with 18 demos of some really fun games, me and my
    • With picture streched over 100 degrees, it feels like you are playing a game on a low-res VGA screen
    • Next, try Rush of Blood and Here they lie, all good release games.
    • Great game play experience all around as long as you understand that your not going to feel like you just woke up in a video game
    • I hardly used it because there weren’t any good games for it
    • And the games and short movies are awesome
    • Buy it and try the DEMO disc first so from there you can decide what games you like
    • With exception of Here they Lie, each game played perfectly without a moment of lag or anything
    • My favorite game in Worlds was Danger Ball, which is kind of strange because it was the least realistic of the five games and only used my head to control a paddle in 3D pong vs. the computer
    • THE MOST SCARY FUN AND ADDICTING GAME ADD
    • My favorite games are the ones that use the Playstation Move controllers to simulate hands or whatnot
    • Also just in case your not aware as of this post there are only 6 games available on disc on amazon but there are i believe 30 games available on the playstation store to download and many many more coming out by the end of the
    • There is so much to be said for how games can be cleaned up by minimizing HUDs and allowing you to check info by turning your head, rather than taking up screen space right in front of you.- 2D Gaming: Cinematic mode enables gaming as if on a giant screen.
    • Also needs better games
    • : intense)-resident evil (very creepy)-VR drive club (for driver enthusiasts who love the speed and car swaying; very good game)All these games are cheap
    • I agree with what other reviewers are saying, start slow and work your way up to the more intense games
    • A fun, addicting game.
    • The game is amazing.
    • I really like VR and there can be great games with the
    • I will say this game looked a little grainy
    • great fun, brings the games that much closer to feeling more real
    • I must say it was a good first VR game I
    • I'm not sure I can even play the scary games, but I'm having a blast with Thumper and especially playroom
    • That game is so fun though it was hard to stop!!
    • Some games are cheap (20$) but many are full price ($60)
    • Most games did not make me motion sick though
    • The fast moving games can cause motion sickness if you are not used to virtual reality and please be careful of your surroundings as you may knock something over if you are not careful
    • So, this is not something you can just stick on and play your favorite games with for hours on end.
    • many games make me feel sick, especially expensive games like RIGS,Driveclub or Robinson: The Journey
    • Most games work fine with the normal gamepad controller
    • There are a lot of wires you need to plug in to get connected, but they include a very easy to follow instruction manual and a beefy connection cable that is quite durable and should last a long time.- Most games work great with the standard PS4 controller, but the move controllers really do make it more immersive so you should spend up if you get the 'core' version
    • PS4 detail in full up close VR 3D.Its clear that some negative reviewers havent tried all these amazing launch games
    • Although I returned the item I plan on re purchasing it in 2017 when more games are released and the software improves and perhaps the price drops.
    • Rush of Blood - very cool demo, I won't describe the game too much, but it's basically like riding in a cart in a haunted house attraction at an amusement park, it's VERY convincing that you're on a cart, so much so my heart started to
    • My Rift is sitting collecting dust due to there being no killer app (or even good games), but everyone at my house is fighting over playing with the PSVR
    • Sony found the right price to offer VR that is plenty good enough for great games and a lot of fun (more fun than I hoped), while finally offering a headset at a price that is affordable for a whole lot more people than the PC and headset required for higher end VR
    • Also, some games can cause discomfort via motion sickness (Scavenger's Odyssey got to me), but I think I'm building up a tolerance over time
    • I just can't wait for there to be more good games available for it
    • Get the move controllers, VR Worlds game...way worth it
    • Limited game catalog
    • Also I don't really just use it for VR game, I use the cinematic mode for regular games because it feels like you're playing on a theater screen its huge its amazing that it almost feels like the regular games are VR and its a fairly comfortable head
    • Favorite games are:
    • Once in a game, you lose all thought of that and feel very immersed in whatever game you're playing whether it's a gritty realistic game, or a more abstract one, you feel like you're there and forget you're wearing a headset
    • the games and demos out now are very cool and showcase how the PS VR works, and it works well.
    • The game developers still need to learn it, refine their games, and have more time to flush out its capabilities
    • I played "Rush of Blood" (excellent game, btw), and when the Rollie foster dropped and turned I felt butterflies in my stomach and thought I
    • You have to download all the free games and demos from Sony to appreciate the wide range of game genres that can take advantage of VR
    • So bite the bullet and consider the $499 bundle which includes all of the above plus a free game
    • The games that are available so far are very diverse and showcase well what this tech is capable of
    • But i'm not willing to believe that Crytek a studio almost famous for their visual fidelity would release a game in that visual
    • First do not pay over $399 for this item, it's a great vr experience but the selection of games is limited, the headset still needs work, certain games will not recenter, like the game called Robinson frustration to play and makes me get motion sickness big time
    • The scary games and videos are surprisingly creepy with this on.
    • The games are fantastic
    • The worst games are the ones that require you to turn your character with your head (looking at you
    • My boyfriend is a gamer and loves this thing!
    • As well as the demo games
    • PSVR games are primarily designed to be sit-down experiences; some obvious stand-only games that would be amazing on PSVR, like Space Pirate Trainer and AudioShield, are not available (at the time this review was
    • My favorite games so far are Playroom, Thumper, and Batman, but I'm hearing great things about SuperHyperCube, Rigs,
    • And for kids, some games can be scary and they can think the games are the real world?
    • The immersion is unreal especially in BattleZone, a game I played as a
    • The games (some of them anyway) are great.
    • First do not pay over $399 for this item, it's a great vr experience but the selection of games is limited, the headset still needs work, certain games will not recenter, like the game called Robinson frustration to play and makes me get motion sickness big time
    • I actually ended up playing the demo disc all night instead of the 3 games I got with it (really good to help you decide what games you would like and what ones you wouldn't)
    • Great game too by the way, watch out for sharks
    • the future is now and I can only imagine what the games could be like with-in year, after the developers get the hang of what works and doesn't work on the system
    • controllers.*some games look great, some don't
    • Not enough game!!!
    • Some people get motion sick, some people can't handle the scary games (me) some people are on cloud 9
    • Some games look great.-Cinematic mode is also very good.-Easy to install.-immersive environment-youtube video with vr experienceCons:-Games which needs depth perception
    • I bought it for mostly horror and racing games, totally worth the purchase.
    • Valkyrie is what I'm talking about, good game btw)
    • Once in a game, you lose all thought of that and feel very immersed in whatever game you're playing whether it's a gritty realistic game, or a more abstract one, you feel like you're there and forget you're wearing a headset
    • I wouldn't go so far as to say the games look like a ps2 as some people have said, however
    • Lacks accessories and the games are really blurry and sub HD
    • Great games and much more to come.
    • Graphically, the games are crisp and beyond acceptable considering it's VR.
    • Take my favorite game so far, Werewolves Within
    • I loved this game so much I reached level 14 before I stoped
    • The demo disc that's included gives you a nice variety of games and playing these games (like office simulator) really helped me adjust to the VR without getting nauseated or a headache
    • Some games graphically are better than others but i'm sure in time developers will get better and better.
    • and yeah you can just kind of watch but lean forward a
    • I was shocked that my 4k television may be broken as I had recently bought it new
    • You will need a playstation camera to use psvr so make sure you pick that up if your looking at the base model you should also get two playstation move controllers as they enhance and in some cases are necessary for gameplay
    • Truly amazing as I've been playing games since the Atari age
    • Love the idea and seemed to work well as a
    • Tried Skyrim VR - It made me sick and annoyed me as it would just be more fun with the controller
    • The resolution is not as good as
    • I am a big fan of the idea, but implementing isn't as great as I'd like
    • Fast forward to recent incarnations such as the (much more expensive
