Almost a month using the v800 and is just an amazing tool for multisport and triathletes
WOW, this is a great tool for anyone who likes information on your progress and overall fitness, still working my way thru all the features and functions, really impressed with the H7 heart rate sensor and the Stride Sensor, so far I have not had any issues with the operation of the V800
You must also need to see how important and useful is the PolarFlow as a tool to evaluate your daily activity, training and performance in time
An excellent training tool, with great depth in "phone" apps and server side flow app.
I love the customizable screens for each event and the ability flip through
It feels very sturdy, the screen is beautiful, and it handles the fitness functions well
The customization is endless and you can have multiple screens for a workout type if you'd like
The good***Well built and solid***Nice Screen and readable***Lots of new functions which lead me to replace my trusted RS800 which is for sale with a HRM, cadence and pod sensor in Amazon :)Things to be aware-
but just a tap down or up will get me back to the right screen

Neither watch will slip off by mistake, but the Polar is probably the more secure of the two
Undecided as to which one I will use after I get up in the morning
It came down to the fact that the Polar was more intuitive to use, and felt like a more finished product, while the Garmin felt a bit like a kludge in comparison
I truly hope Polar will make this available ASAP with a future release as for the
The Polar also looks damn nice - with it's stainless steel and gorilla glass, whereas the Garmin looks very
The HR monitor in the water appears to be accurate as well as when I'm cycling
Undecided as to which one I will use after I get up in the morning
Once you do this, you discover that the navigation on the V800 is actually better than on the FR920XT, with arrows indicating upcoming turns, and a very intuitive way of presenting the information
and I love the metrics and the way it keeps track of your sessions

It feels more comfortable, less bulky, and not as heavy as the V800 before the 2016 version!I very highly recommend THIS Polar V800 sports watch for those who want the most reliable dependable customixable feature rich sports watch currently available.
I suspect that the bluetooth feature does not play well with my jaybird bluetooth headphones
bad - it had the features I wanted.
I also love the "relive" feature on the Flow Polar website

Overall this watch is one of the best devices I've ever owned
It does seem like they plan on supporting it for quite a while so though its expensive I still feel like it's worth it.
I have an Android Samsung Galaxy S5 and I followed every step possible to connect my V800 to my phone, but all it says is that 'no device found' and 'connection failed'.
The battery life is great, it usually charges enough when i sync my workouts

Great battery life - friends with alternatives to the same basic set-up have been in awe of my battery
Battery life is great, I can use it more than a week exercising 2 hrs everyday and wearing it all the time without worrying about battery, but I do most of my training indoors
I had to return the first V800 because the wrist strap broke in an unusual circumstance and the replacement strap was not sent in a reasonable amount of time
But the V800 is perfect for what I need, I hope Polar replace my band soon.
Disappointing watch, I have been a Polar fan for more than 10 years, unfortunately the V800 is clearly inferior to the 920xt even to the 910xt
The Polar V800 feels like a solid product and not some lightweight plastic junk
I still love the V800, especially the new red color, but I don't like the materials they use on their bands.
Another thing I, and this is extremely personal, like is that the watch is a lot thinner than other brands
Upon arrival I opened this thing up and the initial presentation did not disappoint
Having said all of those NEGATIVE things about the "watch" side of things, let me tell you some of the AMAZING POSITIVE things about the fitness tracker:Once you tell it your age, it will know what your ideal heartrate zones are for when you're working out
I don’t trust a product when the first thing I notice is it’s broken
Sad thing is that your products are awesome and have helped me lose 45 lbs after being sick for several years
