I replaced the battery and it still doesn't work

Thought it was the battery so bought new batteries and still didn't work

Perhaps battery in remote is dead

(yes, I made sure I had fresh batteries -- I sincerely believe the IR reciever either in the remote or attatched to the switcher to receive input were broken from the minute it arrived).

The remote didn't work because the battery was dead.

Battery on remote did not work though so could not test full capabilities when first opened.

It's worth the price I just wish the remote didn't kill expensive lithium batteries so quickly.

Now it works as it should -- if I have the TV on and power up the blu ray, it automatically switches to the blu ray

This product switches inputs, the remote doesn't work wonderfully, but I knock it off as it causes some really strange effects on my home entertainment center.

This product doesn't work as a switcher, plain and simple

In conclusion, it's cheap, but it works as long as you get a power adapter and don't plan on using the remote.
