I don't know if this is a compatibility issue or because it lacks the power chord

Product works very well and I have experience not compatibility issues.

This just works well right out of the box without any apparent network compatibility issues

My low rating is because in my opinion the manufacturer should include an appropriate A/C adapter with this, since it will not function as advertised with several HDMI compatible devices that do not output enough power to drive it passively.

Now it works as it should -- if I have the TV on and power up the blu ray, it automatically switches to the blu ray

This product switches inputs, the remote doesn't work wonderfully, but I knock it off as it causes some really strange effects on my home entertainment center.

In conclusion, it's cheap, but it works as long as you get a power adapter and don't plan on using the remote.
